Triple Peanut Blondies

 

1 box french vanilla cake mix (2 layer)

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine; melted

1 egg

1 cup smooth peanut butter

1/2 c. buttermilk

3/4 c. unsalted peanuts; chopped

1 cup (about 18) mini chocolate covered peanut butter cups; coarsely

chopped

 

Heat oven to 350. Coat 13x9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Place cake mix, butter, egg, peanut butter and buttermilk in a large

bowl. On low, beat 1 minute, until combined. Beat on medium speed 2

minutes. Add peanuts. On low, beat just until combined. Spread

evenly in the pan.

 

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle peanut butter cups over top.

Bake 10 additional minutes, until candies begin to melt. Let cool in

pan on a wire rack. Cut into 20 bars.
