Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

2 1/2 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup shortening

2 eggs

1 cup chopped roasted macadamia nuts

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 3500F.

Combine all the dry ingredients, except the nuts. Cream butter and

shortening together. Add the eggs and beat until smooth. Combine with

dry ingredients, mixing well. Add nuts.

Drop 1 heaping teaspoon of mix on ungreased cookie sheet, placing

each portion 2 inches apart. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12

minutes.
