Aromatherapy Travel Kit oils

Going traveling? a few small bottles of Essential oils in a little

cosmetic bag can really help.

You can easily make your own kit.

Peppermint - can be inhaled for a headache or rubbed into the

temples. For nausea a drop on the tongue is a nice breath freshener.

One or two drops helps reduce any kind of pain and bring down a

fever.

Lavender - to experience the relaxing effects place a few drops

rubbed into the temples or placed on a tissue and inhale. I always

carry a wash cloth in a Ziploc baggy on long flights. A few drops of

Lavender on a wet cloth is so refreshing! Add 15 drops in your bath

after you arrive at your destination, this has a calming and peaceful

effect. Carry a small spray bottle with Lavender hydrosol and mist

your face often.

Rosemary - is a very perky and stimulating essence. To really feel

awake the day after arriving, try placing a few drops on top of your

head then duck under the shower. Refresh by rubbing a few drops into

your temples and scalp. Rosemary also stimulates hair growth.

Eucalyptus - for stuffy sinuses or a sore throat place a few drops on

a tissue and inhale or rub into the neck. Add a few drops when having

a hot shower or in your bath on arrival. Helps sore achy muscles from

being cramped on long flights.

Bay Laurel - place a few drops on a tissue and inhale. For swollen

lymph glands rub a few drops in. Excellent for combating jet lag.

Geranium - helps restore exhausted adrenals. Merely place a few drops

on a tissue and inhale. Rub a few drops on your low back and kidney

area. Add 10-15 drops in your bath after you arrive at your

destination. A drop of oil in a glass of water is a good mouthwash

and helps heal sores on the tongue, inside the mouth or lips.

Geranium helps for burn out and exhaustion.
