Peaches 'n Cream Dessert

 

 

 

3/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 pkg. Vanilla pudding mix (3-oz size) 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 1 can (20-oz) peaches; drained, reserve juice 1 pkg. (8-oz) cream cheese 1/2 cup sugar 3 Tablespoons reserved peach juice 1 Tablespoon sugar Combine flour, baking powder, vanilla pudding, salt, butter, milk and egg in a bowl; beat 2 minutes. Pour into greased pie plate. Drain the peaches, saving the juice. MIx together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and the peach juice. Spread the peaches in pie plate. Spread cream cheese mixture over peaches within 1 inch of edge. Mix 1-Tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over pie top. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Serves 6.
