Guest guest
Sweet Sleep Salve Warm one pint of olive oil. Measure into a glass jar 1/4 cup lavender buds, 1/4 cup rose petals. 1/4 cup mugwort and 1/4 cup chamomile. Pour in the warm olive oil and shake to mix well. Shake jar at least once a day for 30 days. Strain out the herbs from the infused oil. To 8 ounces of the infused oil add 7 oz of melted beeswax, 8 oz of melted shea butter, heat to remelt as necessary and mix well. Add a dropper or two of Vitamin E (T-50 tocopherols). Package in jars or tins. To use, massage into temples before driting off to sleep or massage into temples during the day when you feel anziety or tension. This is based on a recipe posted on the " Between Friends Too " site. They used equal amounts of the infused oil, shea and beeswax. As I live in Western Washington State, I find my variation still a bit too stiff and would recommend reducing the amount of beeswax even more unless you live in a wrm climate.
