Interesting natural air freshener

my mother in law makes this wonderful air freshener.

She takes a red apple, and cuts a small diamond shape in the apple.

drizzles a bit of honey over the apple, and sprinkles some cinnamon

as well.

It smells divine!

Just wonderful!!

Just thought I'd pass it along.

does anyone else have any interesting tips to share today?

How long does she 'use' it for? up to a few days?

She said she uses it until it starts to go a bit bad...

so probably...what, maybe a week?

Is the diamond on the top? Does it just sit out, or is it boiled? I'm wondering about whether or not it might attract bugs.
