Guest guest
The " Are We There Yet? " Blend.... The " Are We There Yet? " Blend Traveling with children is always an adventure. This blend contains oils with scents they are likely to be familiar with which can help them feel more at ease when traveling, especially if you tell them it's a blend 'just for them'. 1ml Green Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) 2ml Vanilla 1ml Bitter Orange (Citrus aurantium) 1ml Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) Combine oils into a 5ml amber bottle, seal and invert to blend. This blend is great to diffuse in the car or the hotel room as the oils are 'happy' oils (uplifting and comforting). A great side effect to this oil is it's antibacterial properties that can help keep the air clear of any undesirable bacteria that may otherwise make you and your family ill! Shouldn't they be mixed with a carrier oil or water? Eunice

I use eo's all the time, in bath products, in my cleaning products, etc. I guess I was being over cautious when Diana posted the blends but did not say how they should be used, such as mixed with water/alcohol, with a carrier oil, etc. Eunice
Guest guest
If you are using them in a diffuser, then follow the diffuser's instructions. Car diffusers use pads so no oil or water is needed. If you are using an oil warmer with candles, then you want to add a few drops of the blend to a tablespoon or two of water in the diffuser. If you are using lampring diffusers then you will not use water, just put 3-5 drops on the lamp ring. Only use a carrier oil if you are going to apply the blend directly to the skin. If you want to use it as a spray, you should add several drops it to 8-16 ounces of distilled water. Add 1 tablespoon of vodka to act as a preservative. I wouldn't add water to the whole blend because water will cause mold, bacteria and other nasties to be able to grow. Keeping the blend in a closed jar out of sunlight (in the fridge if possible) will allow it to last a long long time.
