CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES

 

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter or margarine

4 egg

1 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

16 ounce can Hershey's chocolate syrup

1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar

1/2 cup butter or margarine

2 tablespoons creme de menthe

6 ounces chocolate chips

6 tablespoons butter or margarine

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

2. Grease 9 X 13- inch inch pan.

 

3. Mix first 7 ingredients together.

 

4. Pour into pan, bake for 30 minutes and cool completely.

 

5. Mix next 3 ingredients and spread over cold cake.

 

6. Let harden completely.

 

7. Melt the next 2 items in the top of a double boiler and spread

over the creme de menthe layer.

 

8. Put into fridge and let cool until hardened.

 

9. Cut into small squares.
