Guest guest Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 Lavender Citris Soap 2c. grated soap 1/2c. water add after soaps melted oil from 6 vit e capsules 1 tbls. ground dried lemon verbena leaves 1 tbls. dried lavender buds 10 drops lavender eo 20 drops sweet orange oil after cooled & thickened scoop out small handfull and foll out into ball flatten ball to create disc shape as soap cures press soap into firmer and smoother shape. mix lil orange oil with almond oil on your hands to polish or you can do what i do just put em in a mold lol . honey meal mask 1c. water 1/2 dried chammomlile 2tbls. honey 2tbls oatmeal heat water and chammomile in small saucepan, remove from heat. stir in oatmeal and honey let mix cool to room temp. apply to face in upward circular motion let remain on face about 30 min peel and rinse with warm water. chamo mint soap 4oz bar castile soap 1/4 c. distilled water 2tbls red food coloring 1 tbls liquid lanolin 1 tsp jojoba oil 10 drops peppermint oil 4 drops vit e 1/4 c chammomile 5 drops chammomile 5 drops lavender eo shred castile soap with grater and set aside. bring water to boil in saucepan and add chammomile. remove from heat cover steep 30 min strain chammomile from water. return water to pan and reheat add color and soap stir till sticky add lanolin , jojoba , peppermint and vit e and chammomile and lavender eo blend well remove soap from heat spoon into mold let harden for several hours oatmeal soap 4 oz castile soap 1/4 c reg dried oats 1/4 c distilled water 1 tbls dried chammomile 1tbls. dried rosemary 1 tbls. dried lavender 1 tbls jojoba oil. shred soap set aside grind oats set aside . in pan bring water to boil add chammomile and rosemary and lavender . let steep for 30 min strain herbs and return water to low heat add soap stir constantly till mix is sticky to touch remove from heat and stir in oats and jojoba oil spoon into mold let harden for 6-8 hrs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
