Guest guest
PAINTING TIPS Turn a recycled wooden flower box into a unique and eye-catching item by giving it a faux rust look. Dab ochre and rust latex paints over a grey background. While the paint is still wet, spray on a bit of water to mottle it. Stippling or ragging is a perfect paint technique for camouflaging uneven or rough surfaces. For cabinets, try stippling two shades of cream over a taupe background. Wood floors that have had pieces replaced may not look very nice as is, but you can hide those patches, by painting the floor. Why not try your hand at a faux terra-cotta tile design?
