Guest guest Posted June 9, 2004 Report Share Posted June 9, 2004 (got this from my e-mail) If you have one, use a crock pot or something other than the stove which tends to heat up the house, and therefore costs more electricity than if you were just to use a regular on-the-counter roaster. Also to cut electricity costs, a friend of mine also would shut off her water heater at night, after the kids' baths, and turn it on in the morning about 1/2 - 45 minutes before her shower.
