Guest guest
Honey-Peppermint Lip Balm Blend this moisturizing lip balm to soothe dry, chapped lips. Melt 8 teaspoons vegetable oil and two teaspoons beeswax over low heat. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon honey and 1 vitamin E capsule. Mix well. When almost cool, add 8 drops peppermint oil. Pour into small lidded container. Peppermint can be grown in pots outside during warmer months. In cooler weather, plants to sit happily on a windowsill. Use to flavor teas and scent your kitchen. here are some lip balm links www.lemelange.com/lip_balm_recipes.htm http://soapandsupplies.com/lotion_ & _lip_balm_recipes.htm http://www.herbalaccents.com/skincarerecipes.htm http://www.wildroots.com/recipe/Cosmetics/Lip_Balm http://wawa.essortment.com/lipbalmrecipe_rvcx.htm 1 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil 1 teaspoon beeswax, melted 1 vitamin E capsule 1 drop pink grapefruit essential oil 1 drop rose geranium essential oil Mix ingredients together and place in containers. This makes a small batch so you can double, triple it ... and so on. The essential oils are not necessary, but they tend to be soothing to the lips and smell great. Bonus: this can also be used as an incredible solid perfume.
