Guest guest
Keeping Recipe Cards/Cookbooks Clean Keep a recipe card upright by placing it in the tines of a fork and putting the fork handle in a glass. Carry the glass with you from counter to range as you cook. Or tack it to the fridge or exhaust- fan hood. To keep a recipe book or card clean while you're cooking, place it under an upside-down glass pie plate. The curved bottom also magnified the print. Protect recipe cards from drips by using see-through plastic-covered file cards or by taping plastic wrap over them, or apply a thin coat of clear nail polish, or spray with hair spray.
