Guest guest Posted May 10, 2004 Report Share Posted May 10, 2004 Rich Chocolate Dessert 1 pk Unflavored gelatin 3/4 c Granulated sugar 1/2 c Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 c Evaporated skim milk 1 ts Vanilla 1 1/2 c Frozen light nondairy Whipped topping, thawed In medium saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water; let stand 2 minutes to soften. Place over low heat;cook about 3 minutes, or until gelatin is completely dissolved,stirring constantly. In small bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa; add to gelatin mixture, stirring with wire whisk to blend. Continue cooking over low heat about 3 minutes, or until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in evaporated milk and vanilla. Pour mixture into large bowl; refrigerate about 20 minutes, or until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon, stirring occasionally.
