During the night it intensifies. during the day it MAY disappear! Other moments I have peaks very high level sound.... Doreen Virtue says such noise means Angels Downloading Information.... This is quite annoying, but my intuition says this is not connected with tinnitus or equilibrium diseases. Any comments? Blessings to all! But before I do may I ask what does this humming sound like as this may help to identify what maybe causing it. First off, you are not alone in this and it is quite common. They are quite a few theories out there as to the ear humming noises of which I will pass on a few. 1 Well the medical lot and the usual problems with the 'ear workings' that lead to humming or ringing etc. tinnitus, equilibrium or ear canal diseases. 2 Those with dental work with metal. It is not uncommon for crystals to cause dental work to hum. 3 From those that know of ear candling, it is not uncommon to have particles in your ear canal or actual hardened parts of your ear wax that can lead to ear hums or rings. Please note crystals change vibrations, so it is not too far affected a theory that the crystal vibration can cause particles in your ear wax or canal to change vibration and cause humming or ringing. 4 The vibration from crystals can also change the vibrations of your energies, whether chakras or particular parts of your auric field. They can change your energy vibration to go to levels which can also cause hums or rings. Without getting into details, apparently there are certain well known 'belts of energy' that can cause ringing or hums. Then of course the changing of your energy vibration can move to ones that are closer to the vibration of your own guides or vibrations of other 'beings' which cause the humming and rings. Remember the ears react to vibrations as well as sound. 5 Some crystals actually produce their own sounds as well. One of the reasons one can usually hear more hums or rings at night is because most of the background noise of activity around you is no longer there. So in other words less distraction and you hear more clearly. Now as to types of hums and rings, that varies depending on what is causing it. You have from the pinging to the sounds like what the TV makes when you turn it off to the high pitches to the rumbles to the whooshes etc. Ringing or hums maybe constant and or vary. Sometimes you even get pressure in your head with the sounds. As for me I have pretty much had ringing for years now. As I work with crystals of high vibrations the ringing actually changes to the different crystal vibrations to the point I can use it as a 'tool' to tell which are the higher vibration crystals. Like you when the environment activity is down and more quiet, the ringing is more obvious. I do energy work, so when high vibration guides or the energy is high the ringing more or less always changes pitch in relation to the level of vibration. So I am used to it really and work with it. If you want to get rid of your ringing then you have to find the source. So maybe a period of meditation to let your intuition to guide as to how to deal with it if you are so troubled by it. I call it white noise but I like the Doreens version too.. We hear more at night because there is less activity around us. Everything has a vibration and everything is moving, no matter how solid it appears to our human-ness. I have also had the opportunity to hear voices at different frequencies in addition to the humming. This doesn't happen all the time but on occasion when I am attuned I can hear the voices quite clearly, yet some are at such a slower frequency that they are harder to make out. Just for the record I have not been found to have schizoidal or schizophrenic tendencies. Just as an idea, the crystal humming could be a sign that you are becoming more 'connected' to the fourth dimensional energy plane. Some of these planes are said to be quite alive with sound, high level energies and even brilliant color not easily perceived by the human eye. I am getting a sense of your third eye being opened to these external influences which is why I suggested the possibility of using the protective stones.
