[CrystalHW] Crystals and Sleep

Thomas,

There is something she can do without crystals that has helped me. She

can ask her guides/helpers for the night off! I believe

that many of us work on other levels (dimensions) during the sleep

process. We may be aware of this or we may not. When she goes to sleep,

she can simply do a short prayer, centering meditation or whatever she

feels comfortable with to ask for the help for the nights sleep.

As far as stones.... Amethyst is great. Either putting one in a pocket

of the PJ's, placing one nearby on the nightstand or putting one under

the pillow is something that can help. Also a ruby or something in the

reds may help her with being grounded during sleep so she can get

additional rest.

Another thing to look at... what is causing her to not be relaxed? Then

we can look at stone to help those issues.

Good luck!

In gratitude,

John Van Rees

Another poster said that amethyst is not the best for sleeping as it is a third

eye stone, so I guess the jury is still out on this one. Personally I find

amethyst to be very healing and therapeutic.

That would be me. My point about amethyst for sleeping in that particular

email was that maybe it is not the best crystal to use was for someone

having difficulties sleeping due to many vivid dreams. I specifically use

amethyst for sleeping when I want to have dreams that are more on the line of

psychic messages and working in dream state with healing for others.

So, for me personally with amethyst, it depends entirely on what you are

trying to get out of using it for sleep companion.

Blessings to your day all.

Yes, for some reason I don't keep amethyst on my nightstand... maybe it was an

intuitive thing. But I do use it in meditation from time to time. I was

wondering if it might be beneficial for releasing negative karmic energy or if

there would be a better stone for that? Once, awhile back, I used amethyst and

lavendar oil in the bath when I was stressed out and it seemed to work pretty

well.

What are your thoughts on the best stones/crystals for extreme stress? Any

input here is welcomed..

Thank you,

serpentine

I guess it depends on the different kinds of stress...

I also am having problems with sleep. I actually do sleep but I dream so much

that it doesn't feel like I've slept upon waking. These dreams are so real it is

scary. Sometimes I will wake up, turn the light on and try to distract my mind

then after a while go back to sleep and the dream picks up where it left off. I

don't mind occasional dreams like this but it has gotten to be every night and I

am now exhausted.

Is there a stone or stones that can help shut this off for a night or two and

let me rest a bit.

Thank You for any responses,

Janice

Hello woman5,

being an interpreter of dreams I have to ask, What are your dreams, do they make

any sense to you, is there a loved one from another plane trying to give you a

message- that's what it sounds like. Two, the first part of your name, believe

it or not is attractive to disagreeable spirits and energies, sounds like you

need to write this dream down and have it interpreted. Finally, Tektite is known

to deter negative entities, but I would embrace the dream first to get the

message that is trying to be delivered. Our dreams, I feel, is the only time the

ego isn't wide awake to interfere with our receiving divine messages from our

ancestors, spirit guides, and ascended masters and angels. Anybody need dreams

read- I read them like a children's book, so contact me on evere02 and

no I don't have to be near you to interpret your dreams, it's very easy for me

because I have had that gift active all my life- evere02.

Interesting... I might be interested in that sometime. I do have a question

though: What about someone who doesn't remember their dreams, could that

point to a problem? I have always recalled my dreams since I was a child and

most of them were very graphic, playing out like stories with sound and color.

But in recent months I have been under considerable stress, have suffered a

depressive episode and am unable to recall them very often.

My sleep problems sound similar. I have posted here recently about them.

I posted about my Mom passing, and I do have depression. And every night my

mind is filled with dreams that have some kind of conflict in them. Can't

remember most. But, I have had a recurrent " subject matter " that is pretty

funny/weird that I would dream about- my ex- husband!! I don't know why

he's entering the picture so much. Geez. (Divorce long time ago- 18 yrs.)

My Mom is not in these every night battle dreams. I don't feel that evil

entities bring them on, nor do I feel she is trying to contact me through

them. But like Charlene, I'm also very tired (pun intended) of having them.

Hope it's not another " Ex- husband " one tonight. Ugh...

Aloha Kakou,

None of the posts so far have mentioned beautiful Rose Quartz which according to

my customers and my own practical experience is the number one sleep aide among

crystal users.  It's manganese content is said to be calming and recommended for

children by placing in a pouch and hanging near bed (never place small stones

where infants, younger children might be able to reach and possible put in

mouth).  Many sleep with it under their pillow or hold it in their palm.  A

friend lays a heart shaped on on his chest.  Invariably it falls off and he

needs to replace it on his chest.  For some reason his hand always goes right to

the stone without his looking to see where it is.  He finds this amusing and so

do I !!

Ugh...

Janice-

I often help clients with this same problem and hematite often helps. Weather

worn as a pendant or surroundnd your sleep space helps repel anything negative

so the positive learning message can emerge without fear.

Wishing you peace!
