on making selenite elixir

hi, i am wondering if i take a small amount of selenite, and let it dissolve

fully in water, will this be harmful to drink ?

 

there are many metals which are good for us, such as monoatomic gold, silver,

etc,

 

i am wanting to have a super charged selenite infusion within myself as its such

a pure stone,

 

doing the indirect elixir making does not seem to work

I would not use this stone in water

Peggy posted a while ago and a few other sources I am aware of warn against

this

you can place your liquid in a jar and place the stones you wish to get the

properties from and encircle your container and pass its energy that way I

find these can be very powerful and potent

I am still really baffled by all the people who say selenite dissolves in

water. I have yet to have any of the selenite/gypsum pieces that I have put

into water dissolve.... and I am talking in my drinking glass on my bedside

table and my water bottles which continually have water in them. So the

selenite is in there soaking. Perhaps it is a specific type of

selenite/gypsum that dissolves but in my personal experience, I have not had

or satin spar dissolve. YES they may get scratched by other crystals if you

have more then one type of crystal in your water and that could in turn

cause flaking of the selenite/gypsum, so you would want to be careful of that.

Since I usually use tumbles stones with the selenite in my water, I don't

even have that issue. Hmmmm ..... I have never tried hot or boiling water

either, I only ever use cold water. So, that could be a factor ~shrugs~ The

other argument I have to this is ... if selenite dissolves in water, why on

earth would most of the aquarium supply stores in my area carry it (the

Utah ice variety) for putting in your fish tanks?!?!?!

I forgot to remove two small selenite from my pants pocket before putting in the

wash. What came out was a mash of grains. it was a cold water wash and rinse.

that is interesting to know

I have not yet played with selenite, on a whole I ask the stones where

they will work best , ones I know have no toxic properties if they will be

stronger, if I place them in water some will and some resound NO, while some

will resound yes.

the advice I shared I have followed given from others on the selenite, it

is good to have your knowledge to share thank you so much

 

it is good to have this group so we can bounce ideas and realms of

knowledge off each other, some other place that don't have people who like

to pipe in that its all evil and I am dabbling in voodoo, as I do so much

with stones and other therapies lol, or should I say that I have been

informed that what I do is of the devil, good grief if it is why does it

discuss it in the scriptures lol.

I do not work with arts that are dark and evil. rofl give ma a break I

work with the positive good energies of the world to build and strengthen

and I include my diety/heavely father as well as the powers of heaven in

all I do because he gave me the abilities I have

I would blame that more on the softness and delicate nature of selenite

then on the water, especially if you have a washer with an agitator (top

loading) and not a front loading washer. Even in a front loading washer it would

take a beating. Any crystal you can scratch with your finger nail

certainly needs to be handled with care in regard to tumbling action. ;-)

But do were they washed in a top loading washer? have you ever kept the lid

open and stuck a pen in the plate-switch that tells the machine the lid is

closed so that it runs (agitates)? The agitator is by no means gentle.

When we switched from a top load to a front load (which I always liked better

anyway from my laudro-mat days), even my husband notices a LOT less lint

because the tumbling action is much more gentle then the agitator action.

Clothes don't wear out as quickly just from being washed!!

 

So, that being said and being very familiar with selenite, I still have no

doubt the damage was done by more by the machine and not the water,

although the water did give more mobility to things.

 

I had accidentally left a piece of Zincite in a jeans pocket and it went

through the wash (in the front loader) and came out in several pieces and it

is harder then selenite!!

Interesting discussion. I have not used selenite personally, but recently I

must admit that I've become quite drawn to it. I have also felt myself becoming

drawn to new colors that I've never liked before such as pale mint blues and

soft violet blue, such as that of the peruvian blue opal and the blue lace agate

and blue chalcedony.

I had a piece of Moldavite that I had wrapped in silver as a pendant, but

couldn't wear because I get rashes from wearing necklaces. Anyhow, I recently

left in a pocket of my jeans and forgot about it until after I started pulling

pieces of the pendant out of the wash. So, yeah, Selenite which is a weaker

stone will break up in the washer and dryer.

 

Ah, well. With that being said I would not personally put selenite in drinking

water due to it being a weak stone and cleaving off into shards. Indirect

method would prolly be best.

i have begun putting a tumbled selenite in water for a few minutes, to an hour

or two just now, it does not notably dissolve

 

it seems that it quickly infuses water with light, though not positive, i felt

general improvements in the light in my body after having a few glasses that way

, and felt that it had recharged seual energy, as a male, i used to find that

my selenite crystal sphere until it disappeared, did this very nicely ,

 

i put a glass of water with a jade toroid in a crystal singing bowl over night

with tumbled selenite around the outside of the glass, and it had a wonderful

amount of energy in it this morning ,
