The vibrations they send through the body are nothing short of incredible. Many (if not all) Crystal Singing Bowls are tuned to the Chakras. My son who doesn't follow my path (he's catholic) had to leave a shop that was playing a sing bowl CD for me to check out because the vibrations going down his spine were too intense for him. To date my most favorite Crystal Singing Bowl CD is: SOUNDS OF LIGHT: The Pure Tones of Crystal Singing Bowls _http://www.amazon.com/SOUNDS-LIGHT-Tones-Crystal-Singing/dp/B00000G1SO/ref= sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 & s=music & qid=1265509552 & sr=1-1_ (http://www.amazon.com/SOUNDS-LIGHT-Tones-Crystal-Singing/dp/B00000G1SO/ref=sr_1\ _1?ie=UTF8 & s=music & qid=126 5509552 & sr=1-1) You can listen to short samples at amazon but they really don't give you the full vibration, just a mere glimpse. I cannot stress this enough, if one does choose to get crystal singing bowl CDs ... do NOT play them to loudly as the vibrations can damage stereo equipment. I was playing the above mentioned CD once and there was a leaded crystal wine glass sitting on my desk. Mind you I was not playing the CD loudly but the wine glass none-the-less started " singing " along with the CD. I could literally hear that distinct ring that you hear if you wet your finger and run it around the rim a few times with the right amount of pressure. It was quite cool. Enjoy your quest. Blessings to your eve all ReNau ps ... I am in one of the areas (SW PA) that got a whopper of a snow storm that started last eve in time for rush hour commute home and tapered off here early this afternoon. We have 20 inches outside around our neighborhood. My brother in McLean VA at last report late this afternoon had 25 inches and the snow was still coming down. Only 2+ weeks ago they had 2 feet of snow hit the nation's capital!
