Right now I have the worst cold I've had since I was a child and

energy work, aromatherapy, herbal teas, chicken soup , vitamin c and

cuddling with my crystals is not doing much at all

I probably much more susseptable right now because of the continuing

emotional roller coaster due to our family health and financial issues

I'm not sure I've ever thought much about what stones would help with a

cold or bronchitis etc. Topaz and some Jaspers have been recommended

and Right now Stillbite ,Laramar , petrified wood and a lovely

skeletal quartz are stepping up and the pink himalayan salt has been

soothing. I was wondering what if any stones you call on when you have a

cold and what theire specific assistance is.

Hi Peggy,

Try sodalite...high chlorine...natural disinfectant...sounds romantic huh?  And

the a green tourmaline in a glass of water...let it sit a bit...to build immune

system....T-Cell count.

I can never underestimate the power of an acidophillus capsule

daily......cholophyll to clear the lungs...slippery elm to sooth the

bronchitis...choropyll will do that too....if you are close to Daly City, by San

Fran check out the Watchers Co...they have the best choropyll...and then their

WBI for blood and immune...three...twice a day.

No dairy....miso is great.....ginger to sweat, can grate it in tea with raw

honey....both natural antibacterial.....lots of it to get the bowels clearing

to...(sorry).

I have a large bag of suggestions if you need more.  If you go to a place of

chronic cough then go to wild cherry by herb pharm...best for stopping the

cough....do not forget the neti pot.....a zinc daily if you have it.....and a

good gargle with tea tree (one drop) or salt water.

Blessings and get well soon,

Dawn

I am one of those people who gets to suffer with chronic sinusitis. I have found

moss agate to be beneficial with sinus congestion. I will also use selenite due

to it's cleansing properties.

Feel better soon!

Blessings to your day all.

..Everything the Herbal person said sounds good.It sounds like this cold came

about because you're stressed and run down, as you yourself said.

Grounding stones, such as the jaspers, snowflake obsidian, chrysocolla, may

help you even out the roller coaster a bit-Be sure to take some REALLY HOT

baths and/or showers and inhale the steam-in fact make sure you've got a

humidifier in your room/house-extra humidity will help ! And drink PLENTY of

water.

You can't get enough HUGS ! Ask your friends for some TLC during and after

this. See if you can get a massage-if there's a massage school near you

their students may offer student massages at a discount or even for FREE

during their training.

If you're coughing up " icky stuff " of the yellow or green variety it's time

to see a doctor ! If you're having trouble breathing it's time to go to the

emergency room !

Kayt, who's been there, done that :D

Great advice... Chrysocolla and other stones that clear the throat chakra can be

especially good. Also yellow topaz and emerald can be beneficial. Carnelian

helps with sinus irritation. Carry a clear quartz with you at all times, as

this is very strengthening. Turquoise is relaxing and excellent for building

immunity.. for severe immune weaking try an amethyst pendant. Flourite is

helpful for sinusitis, especially purple flourite.

Thanks,

Greetings, Paggy:

From a preventative and nursing standpoint, supplementing with a good

multi-vitamin that contains about 800 to 1,000 mg. Vitamin D would help greatly

in boosting one's immune system. And, I believe, the fluorite should help get

rid of your current illness. I hope you feel better soon. Blessed Be!
