What I use it for is as a battery of sorts.to connect me to the " green energy " during our long COLD Iowa winters. What works especially well are my bloodstones that are cut like vogel crystals. I have suffered some recent health problems to begin with but anyway I went to a local crystal shop and was drawn to a couple pieces of bloodstone - one was quite a bit larger than the other. Yet it was the smaller one that 'spoke' to me and I do mean speak in a literal sense, lol. I have never had this sort of experience before but I picked up the smaller one and I heard a voice say, " If you want me to do the most good, press me up against your liver, way up as hard as you can " I was in a bit of shock here but I did it and within a day I was feeling better. You can either bury your crystals for three nights of the full moon to cleanse, alternatively a lot of the lunar based ones (Moonstone, Labarodite, Obsidian etc) can be left in the light of the full moon for three nights (this also works for non lunar crystals. You can also cleanse them by running them under flowing water and then allowing them to dry in the sunlight - except for amethyst and a handful of others that fade in the sunlight. It is great for somebody who has problem with being fully present in your phisical body,or if you have problem with grounding. It works for me immediatly, I can feel the energy rushing from my head down to my feet and to the ground. It is very powerfull. I never used Jet, but because it is black, it will work for grounding too. They do not clash with their properties. If you are planning to wear your neclace for a long time, maybe it will be good idea to check, if you are not starting to develope headaches. At that point you can rebalance your chakras with corresponding stones. I think it depends how sensitive you are to the stones' energy. After wearing a particular crystal, I once had a very strange vision of entities, I couldn't recognize and one of them predicted an event that came true within three days. They also seemed to reside in an inverse pool of color which matched the crystal. One of them also attacked me psychically. It was after wearing a certain crystal which I didn't wear again. My instincts said to keep it away from my other crystals which I have done. I am tempted to get rid of it, but it was fairly expensive. I feel that it is possible for an entity to attach itself to an object, otherwise how would psychometry work and how would psychics so easily be able to use objects to access information or deceased parties? From what I have read, some crystals hold energy longer and more intensely than others.. so I assume it might be possible for an entity to magnify its energy if it were attached in such a way. Diamond is said to retain energy for a long time, and there is the case of the 'hope' diamond. Fortunately I haven't had an experience like this with any other crystal. So I've used water for water, dirt for earth, a candle for fire and incense for air. Sage is a good cleansing agent so using it would be a reasonable tool IMO. Being a Kemetic, I personally DO believe a netjeri (or spirit) can inhabit an object. Also, I do believe that crystals are sentient beings and therefore have their own distinct personalities. In regards to the cluster used to cleanse other crystals, I use an amethyst cluster and often cleanse it by the moonlight method and also with a diluted lavender oil mixture. The reason I ask is because I did have a psychic experience while visiting the home of a friend. The information I recieved was not from my friend but from a person who lived there previously and died there tragically. It was specifically a shed on the property that gave me this feeling and where I got the energy from. I found out that was where the previous owner had committed suicide. You can either bury your crystals for three nights of the full moon to cleanse, alternatively a lot of the lunar based ones (Moonstone, Labarodite, Obsidian etc) can be left in the light of the full moon for three nights (this also works for non lunar crystals. You can also cleanse them by running them under flowing water and then allowing them to dry in the sunlight - except for amethyst and a handful of others that fade in the sunlight. It is great for somebody who has problem with being fully present in your phisical body,or if you have problem with grounding. It works for me immediatly, I can feel the energy rushing from my head down to my feet and to the ground. It is very powerfull. I never used Jet, but because it is black, it will work for grounding too. They do not clash with their properties. If you are planning to wear your neclace for a long time, maybe it will be good idea to check, if you are not starting to develope headaches. At that point you can rebalance your chakras with corresponding stones. I think it depends how sensitive you are to the stones' energy.
