Guest guest
I don't like to second guess anyone's prices, because i don't know all their overhead costs, but with that said, I agree with John, those prices struck me as being very high. I know stones have jumped quite a bit in the last few years due to availability and shipping costs from all over the world, but i have seen rough stones about 1x1.5 " for about $15 this past year. Keep shopping around or check out the site John recommends. linda On Dec 11, 2009, at 6:09 PM, John Van Rees wrote: That seems expensive to me for tumbled Moldavite...... if you need something lower priced we have some at our showroom for under $20 in Natural Moldavite... Guest guest
Please know, Moldavite is an extremely powerful stone and connects us with higher dimensional communications, draws issues to the surface quickly, can easily have a person feeling spacy and ungrounded- that's why most people when using it also use a good grounding stone with it, and it will give so much energy off that we can have difficulty going to sleep if wearing it- this is why most coaches do not reccomend wearing it all the time as jewelry or carrying it all the time. These are the experiences i've had with it until i learned how and when to use it just by my own trial and error. i love this stone and still use it whenever i feel the need, but remember it doesn't require large pieces, i think it's best used in smaller pieces. But real moldavite only comes from Czechoslovakia and the fake moldavite is cheaper, according to how much a retailer sells of it will change the price also. But like you said- the real moldavite does tingle/ vibrate in our hands or on our bodies. i hope this has helped someone in the group. Guest guest
I have a piece of moldavite, about 1' to 1 1/2 " ,its a beautiful specimen and it was $100. Personally I would not buy a piece if it was tumbled unless it was from someone I knew and trusted but I believe it is better untumbled anyway. I do agree--its a very powerful stone, some can not use it because of its strength or at least not untill they are ready for it.I do not wear or work with mine all of the time, only when I need to.But I do love the stone. hugs marsha --- On Sat, 12/12/09, evere02 <evere02 wrote: evere02 <evere02 Re: [CrystalHW] Moldavite Saturday, December 12, 2009, 7:54 AM  Please know, Moldavite is an extremely powerful stone and connects us with higher dimensional communications, draws issues to the surface quickly, can easily have a person feeling spacy and ungrounded- that's why most people when using it also use a good grounding stone with it, and it will give so much energy off that we can have difficulty going to sleep if wearing it- this is why most coaches do not reccomend wearing it all the time as jewelry or carrying it all the time. Guest guest
Just curious what negative things you have heard about Moldavite. Robert Simmons wrote a book on Moldavite, which is quite good. Also there is lots of information on Moldavite in The Book of Stones and Stones for the New Age Consciousness. I love Moldavite but it took me quite a while before I could work with it. Sometimes people can have real strong physical sensations to the stone. It took me a week to ten days to get over that, then I was able to sleep with it on my third eye. I worked with it for quite a few weeks. My dream life was phenomenal and I would wake up feeling like I had visited another galaxy. It was a wonderful experience. Moldavite is supposed to speed up transitions in your life, which I feel it did. I highly recommend it!! Moldavite works quite well with Azeztulite if you get to that point of combining it with other stones. You could also use Black Tourmaline or Hematite to help ground yourself if the experience becomes too intense. happy traveling! Guest guest
The negative things I have heard are some people get lightheaded and one guy on YouTube said he attracted an entity using Moldavite. Maybe he was not using it for the right intention. I will find a book that specifically talks about Moldavite. It's a beautiful stone and I am receiving one soon. I will have to experience for myself the benefits of wearing one. Also trying it with Black Tourmaline or Hemattie because I always have a problem grounding. Thank you for your advice, Stephanie  ________________________________ Gary <gfishman Sat, April 3, 2010 2:04:37 AM [CrystalHW] Re: Moldavite  Just curious what negative things you have heard about Moldavite. Guest guest
Hi Stephanie, if you get some uncomfortable physical symptoms, then put it down for a while and try again later. That should go away after a while. I would not worry about a negative experience that someone else had. That is neither here nor there in regard to your use of any stone. Some stones can be very intense and it may take you time to work with them. Phenacite, Satyaloka Azeztulite, Herderite, and Natrolite, are some stones I have learned about through Robert Simmons and they have the potential to take you to a whole new level of consciousness. I think the Moldavite helped me prepare for those other stones. Let us know how it goes for you. Guest guest
It's funny. I have never been able to feel anything from Moldavite. It feels like a piece of plastic to me. I love Moldavite incense though :-). Guest guest
I am that way with Amber and Jet but not Moldavite. I do agree that the incense is wonderful. It can make me a bit spacey at times ... lol but I guess that can be a good thing if I am meditating! Blessings to your eve all. Guest guest
Hello all, I've been enjoying the discussion on moldavite, very interesting. I am quite drawn to the moldavite but it seems that I am not ready for the stone's energy quite yet. It has a very powerful, psychic energy in my experience. -Charlene Gary Apr 3, 2010 10:54 AM [CrystalHW] Re: Moldavite Hi Stephanie, if you get some uncomfortable physical symptoms, then put it down for a while and try again later. Guest guest
Interesting... but it may be because of increased psychic energy and people who are psychic often do attract entities and spirit beings. As for me I need grounding and shielding at this point in time. Out of curiousity, have any of you ever suffered an illness after sending a healing to someone? Your input always appreciated, Thanks, -Char Gary Apr 3, 2010 10:54 AM [CrystalHW] Re: Moldavite Hi Stephanie, if you get some uncomfortable physical symptoms, then put it down for a while and try again later. jasonK
i just started wearing it as a pendant and i just had a synchronicity experience. i always go to ebay to find a particular style of sun glasses that i owned in a happier time in my life, and its never there. they arent manufactured anymore, so im always hoping to find someone who is selling a used pair. these sunglasses are pretty much the only reason why i go on ebay.. ive been searching probably for 7 years now - and yesterday, i found a brand new pair of these special sunglasses that ive been looking for. so immediatley i placed the bid - and although i havent won them yet, i dont think anyone else wants them, because my bid of like $40 is holding well. ok - so it occured to me that this green Moldavite that has been around my neck vibrating its powerful energy into my being night and day may have something to do with this good fortune i came around to. any, its interesting that the sellers name is "greenglass72" ..i was born in 1972, and also the sunglasses will most likely arrive on my birthday - cool huh?
