Obsidian, Volcanic Glass...?

Here is a very interesting entry on Wikipedia about obsidian (a form of

volcanic glass) and it does mention what is in snowflake obsidian that gives

it it's " flakes " ~G~

Isn't Peridot also part of the volcanic glass " family " ? Of all the volcanic

type of minerals, Obsidian is one chemical composition and Peridot I believe is

on the other side of the spectrum with a different chemical composition.

I love peridot... and I believe its one of the astral stones of the zodiac,

Virgo. Great all around healing stone.

i still am confused about the differences in the vibrational freq's. of obsidion

and apache tear and how they are different in their useages.  paula (pas)
