Protection Stones and Crystals: Onyx

I am curious about the group members experiences regarding onyx for use in

protection? Positives and negatives? Any feedback or personal experience

regarding this is welcome.

I do not have a personal affinity with onyx. So, for me it is not my go-to

protection crystal. I will use Smokey quartz and/or smokey selenite,

depending on the actual need and whether I am just using it at home or need to

carry it with me. Selenite is a very soft crystal (2 on the MOHs hardness

scale). So, that one I use strictly at home. Smokey quartz is a hard crystal

(7 on the MOHs hardness scale). So, I will use it when I need the protection

crystal to travel with.

works great so does apache tear and clear quartz although the later isn't my

first choice. paula (pas) try turquoise also.

Hi Charlene,

I don't feel drawn to my onyx for protection, personally. I use my black

tourmaline and my boytroidal hematite when I feel the need for protection. Oh,

and I mean spiritual and energetic protection. When I feel the need for

personal protection, I take tourquoise with me, specifically a tourquoise carved

angel.
