I don't see anything wrong with someone asking for energy work or prayer work to assist with the healing that they are desiring. If the prayer work pushes your buttons for some reason, then just delete that email. Most of the requests I have seen have something in the title line telling you what the posting is about so you can know whether you want to read it or not. Everyone's sh*t is hitting the fan in a big bad way. People are no longer able to ignore or avoid things. I see both views. Can we maybe include both? I know I am new to this group and have not even posted yet. So hello everyone. As well as in real life when it comes to healing with people, we are not one dimensional we are multi dimensional. So how could we go and talk about one part without the others? Just my two cents. There is nothing wrong with asking for healing on the appropriate group, but if the group is loosing focus of being a crystal group I imagine some members will begin unsubscribing. While doing hospice work, I learned that the opportunity for making a difference sometimes comes in a fleeting moment and is then gone. Because we each have a different vantage point or are sometimes the only one able to see someone else's suffering it becomes each of our responsibility to speak up when needed. As with all of life there is no separateness between us which makes group consciousness such an effective healing tool. Healing modalities, crystal work and reiki being a few among many all seem to work together and enhance each other. We are all blessed to in some way be connected to one or more of this. I looked at issue for Gale as relater to crystal work and know that she is already connected with those that guide her there, so decided to simply ask for prayer and intention for highest good. There is much to learn from everyone, however not all of us are at that point to see or need some of the information. I also understand everyone is pressed for time, and if your focus was to learn, you are frustrated at having to open emails that do not pertain to your needs. John mentions the subject line. Let us all make a concerted effort to be explicit in the subject line. And for all of us who are responding to requests, here is a suggestion, another group i was on implemented it with great success. We all like acknowledgement that our request is heard, so if anyone is simply responding to the request without anything else to say, the group members would add to the subject line: healing on the way, or will do, prayers and blessings being sent. Everyone in the group knew that they did not have to open the email, the message was in the subject line. You are still getting a response and everyone else knows that particular email is offering their healing/prayers/ sentiments, and they do not have to take the time to open. Anyone open to trying this? I personally would not like to see us curtail requests for healing or help. Let us remember that healing with crystals is just as valuable as Reiki and other modalities. Maybe if people let everyone know what they are doing to help the individual requesting the healing this would become a learning experience for all. Then you can have the effect of sending healing along with the learning from other people what crystal(s) to use in the given situation. While many of us are psychic to some degree, we are not mind readers especially via the internet for unasked questions. I am in agreement with John that this list is for learning about crystal healing and in turn giving healing (crystal or other energy modalities) the name of this group speaks volumes " Crystal Healing Workshop " . It all goes hand in hand. In some case when someone posts a healing request, this may be the only list they are on that is based on metaphysical/alternative healing or it could be a simple matter of they know the love and compassion that comes from so many on this list and trust the people here and like their energies. Quite frankly I do not know of ANY metaphysical groups that someone doesn't at some point or another post a healing request and people on the list post back honoring that request. I also want to point out that more often then not I see folks put in the subject line " HEALING request " and NOT " Prayer request " . To me there is a big difference between the 2, but I am sure that some others view them as meaning the same thing. Blessings to your eve all.
