Re:Mixed Crystals in one bowl

I also have 7 or 8 bowls of mixed crystals. Several are smaller tumbled stones

and a several are of rough crystals that my granddaughter and I have found

locally. The bowls of tumbled crystals are a pretty eclectic mix and they seem

quite happy to be as they are. Often I'm guided to pick up one or another to

carry for a time and the variety seems to assure that I'll always have the stone

spirit I need easily available.

 

The bowls of rough crystals also 'call' at times and the mix of varieties might

have something to do with this. This part of the country has an abundance of

varieties of quartz all over the place including clear, milky clear, smoky,

amethyst and a sort of milky with reddish 'inclusions' and/or veins running

through them. There's a lot of unakite, various granites, sandstone and others,

too. All of these kinds are represented in the bowls and my partner on

collection forays gets pretty insistent about what we bring home. At 4 she knows

her crystals very well and has 2 small velvet bags of them that she carries with

her in her tiny fuzzy pink rabbit purse wherever she goes. Sometimes she swaps

out those in her bags for others from the bowls and I know she feels their

energies. I keep them all cleansed and charged with Reiki, 'just in case'.

 

To cleanse them as a group when necessary, I add a piece of hematite and push it

into the center of each bowl, intending that the hematite will absorb any

negativity they may have picked up. Then I put them in the light of a full moon

or, if the moon phase is wrong, in the sunlight, for a day. I've also had much

luck cleansing crystals with sound and with rain.

 

A last note. A retired science teacher here offered to tumble a few of the

pieces that McKenzie and I have found and she just called to say they're

finished and that the 2 pieces of amethyst we had in the lot are gorgeous. She

wants to know where we found them. Hmmm...what do I tell her?
