Guest guest
I am wondering if anyone out there who works with crystals and chakra balancing could answere this question. Has anyone heard of or experienced crytals vibrating or slightly moving or rocking during a chakra cleansing, when the crystals are placed on chakra center locations of the body?? Guest guest
Everyone is different and unique and my experience may be mine alone. I learned from a session with a client when i went to put a crystal on a chakra to bring it into balance, (it was wide open) the traditional associated crystal started to vibrate, i was guided to put another crystal that had a calm resonance. For instance using rose quartz as opposed to ruby or garnet. Other times the crystal would vibrate and then fall off. When i picked it up, i knew it had absorbed all it could and needed to be cleansed. Those are my experiences, hope it helped. linda I am wondering if anyone out there who works with crystals and chakra balancing could answere this question. Guest guest
Aloha Kakou. . . my own personal experience validates same. Stones can be chosed for their purported qualities and associations with chakras, but are still entities with 'minds of their own' so using intuition and being willing to experiment with choice seems best. A local spa has been buying small Hematite and Carnelian pieces for certain placements during massage. On most of clients the stones refuse to stay in placement 'suggested' so they now follow guidance of stones and everyone is much happier. Information at our website www.heartofmaui.com was compiled from over 20 books. If even one book listed it, I included it. Information includes Common Names, Sanskrit Name, Placement, Metal, Astro Sign, Organs Associated, Fragrance, Musical Note, Sephirah, Color Meaning, Crystals/Minerals that correlate with each chakra. Please feel welcome to use that information in any way that is beneficial. That shared, please remember that these are only guidelines and that there is no correct or incorrect stone based on what you find written anywhere. Intuition and experience are still best guidelines. Many of our customers that are serious about stone work have a very personal indication if a stone is right choice. For some it's a warming and/or tingling of hands, some the stone itself becomes hot, some hold a stone at location on 3rd eye, some use pendulum, some muscle test and many just 'know'. For me I feel energy pulsing from ground particulary on my right side. I have no explanation for this, just know that it is. Discussion of late has been great. Appreciate that so many are chiming in! Guest guest
Aloha Skye, I think one of the more difficult aspects of working in metaphysics is for people to trust their instincts and listen to their bodys. Early on, like you, i found that my right hand would tingle or pulsate when I asked the Universe questions, if the answer was no, the left would pulsate. It took me awhile to trust what i was feeling. I went on to learn dowsing, thinking that would be more definitive. It isn't, i usually get the same answers and now the Universe likes to speak to me as well as tingle with me, and if the Universe really wants to get a giggle it sends me answers that spew out of my mouth before i can " logically " construct my sentences. I like to empower my students and clients, so when they come in, i have them draw a stone from a bowl of assorted crystals. 9 out 10 draws, they pulled a crystal pertinent to their current situation. The other one draw, i wood tell them to be open to anything. When they see how pertinent the stone is to their situation, it gives them confidence to pay attention to their intuition. Now some of you are going to say how can you put all the stones together it will cause chaos, because that has also been a traditional thought. The " stone people " offered to be volunteers and live harmoniously with each other in the bowl. Guest guest
Aloha Linda and All. . . I love watching people have the 'aha' experience or the look of relief when they realize that intuition is 'normal' and trustworthy. I usually take a bowl full of stones wherever I go as 'giveaway'. Often I will encounter someone who received one months later and they will acknowledge how perfect their choice was. I heard someone today refer to the stones as having their own 'agenda' and I thought of how perfect the description was. For a while stones were showing up in dreams, now it is sometimes a single word. One of my biggest joys is to be able to discuss the scientific aspects of crystal mineral use with those that understand such and have them be so excited to be able to 'tune in' with that knowledge and see that the metaphysical that some pooh-pooh really is a science. One gentleman who was a physicist was dragged to our booth by his wife who insisted that he pick up a Lemurian Quartz that she felt he should experience. He did so respectfully as she questioned him thoroughly and he repeatedly told her that he felt nothing. He asked a few questions, until I intuitively mentioned that the Lemurians were an ancient race of beings known for their gentleness and he stopped me from sharing more. As soon as she wandered off to do some shopping he leaned over and said that he had felt an extreme wave of gentleness. When she returned I shared with her his experience and she decided that he should purchase the stone. I knew that his experience was enough and convinced her of that and the stone stayed around for a few more weeks when someone else was drawn to becoming it's caretaker. Bottom line: I feel awesomely blessed to have the energy and wisdom of these awesome entities in my life and to be able to bring and share that joy with others. I'll bet everyone drawn to this group feels the same. Mahalo Peggy for offering this to us. Guest guest
Greetings, I to have a few bowls with several mixed crystals in them and they too live well together. I find that often people sitting in my living room will be drawn to certain crystals in the bowls. As for chakra cleansing and crystals, I always ask what needs to go where before I start a healing and have not struck any problems. I got one of my students to do the same and place them on another class members chakras. Interesting enough, he used the opposite colours of the spectrum for each chakra. We then looked up the metaphysical meaning for each crystal and found that those crystals each pertained to events that the chakras control. It was most fascinating. My rule of thumb, if you excuse the term, is that if it feels right then it is.
