You place it on the top of the sore area and it acts like a pressure release valve. Guest guest Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 Smoky quartz (releasing blockages) and/or green florite (mental acuity) is very good for that as well. I would try holding it at the level of the solar plexus in your hand and while concentrating in a relaxed state, focus. See your self free from blockages, and you accomplishing whatever task is at hand without being impeded in anyway. Focus intensely for a few minutes and then release the thought. Relax and then you may want to keep the pyramid around you for a few hours. Be warned, an effect of smoky quartz is that it can bring repressed thoughts and feelings to the surface and it may seem that your situation is getting worse.
