Using crystals when sending reiki

HI , Im new to the group and thankyou for letting me join. always curious about

crystals and their energies. i always have a hard time deciding on which crystal

is best to use when sending reiki. alot of time i use the clear quartz. but,

should i use the corresponding color to whatever shakra i need to heal? thanks

There are many crystals and ways to use them, In choosing a crystal to " charge "

with Reiki

you can use your intuition, you can dowse, you can have the subject choose the

one he is drawn too, you may " hear " a guide tell, and, you can go by the basic

color relationship with the chakras. However, last one may be too simplistic:

though there are the associated colors (which are really frequencies, we just

see them as colors) with the chakras; you have to know if the chakra needs that

particular color or another. For instance, red is the color usually associated

with the root, but if the root needs grounding, you may want to use a smokey

quartz or a black tourmaline.

 

The surest one to use is the crystal quartz, because it is considered a Master

Crystal. A master crystal and can be programmed to take on the frequencies and

properties of other crystals if directed. The crystal quartz is a transmitter

and receiver of energy. I caution my students to use colored crystals if they

are familiar with color therapy. For instance: if someone has high blood

pressure you do not treat the areas of the heart with red, nor should he wear

red garments that cover his chest area. It can aggravate his situation. Now is

someone has problems with circulation, you do not treat them with blue, blue

will restrict the flow of blood.

 

Pink and light green are " generally " safe to use. I have never had a problem

with pink. But there is controversy over using green if someone has cancer.

Some believe green fosters the growth of cancer, others believe it is strictly a

neutral and healing frequency.

I choose to err on the side of caution and safety and do not use green on any

cancer subject. Also shades and tints have different frequencies and can have

other effects, so it helps to have an understanding of color therapy.

Greetings and Salutations Nora,

 

When I am doing Reiki and using crystals or crystal healing in general, I

go with intuition and let the crystals tell me who is to be used for each

particular session. Quartz is of course a good all around healer but you are

limited to using just quartz. If you are having difficulty " hearing " the

crystals that are calling for use in a given session, you can always try

using a pendulum to assist with the selection process.
