Sulking crystals? The ones that want crystal friends?

You can clear and cleanse crystals in a variety of ways. Sage smoke is very

effective but odorous You can bury the crystal in Mother Earth for a while.

You can use citrine, selenite or carnelian to surround it with loving, cleansing

crystal energy. You can put it in the moonlight (full moon is best) to give it a

light bath. You can hold it and blow loving and cleansing energy into it. Some

use a sea salt bath, but that can be way too harsh for many crystals.

 

If you really can't connect with this one, I would opt for outdoor therapy. Put

it near a lovely tree, in the shade, and let the tree and any rain that comes

clear it out. Spend time with it daily if you can, even just sitting by the

tree, letting the crystal know that whatever unpleasantness it experienced is

now past, and life is beautiful. Let it know that it is welcome to come inside

with you and other crystal friends when it is ready. If you rescue this one, you

may have a friend for life . . .

I may be wrong on this,  but it kind of sounds as though if she were to cleanse

the Crystal so well as to hopefully rid it of its negative energies...Well maybe

besides the negative energies,  maybe this Crystal is FAR FAR from reasonating

with her and just may not be meant for her?  (Is that a dumb observation?)

That is a possibility. I think of amethyst though as normally being very

healing so I wonder if there was a negative energy attached to this crystal...

I haven't jumped into this topic yet but I will now. I feel no negative

energies from this crystal. I find it to be very zippy in fact. It is quite

possible the crystal became saddened due to being " taken away " from it's

bin/basket friends. Do you have any other amethyst around for it to sit with?

Personally, I feel you need to handle this crystal and love it, not set it

aside and ignore it. That would be the worst thing you could do to it. I

feel it is more of a matter that it was removed from all it's " friends " and

needs to be shown love and affection.

 

I have had crystals get upset with me directly. I have some personal

crystals that are just for my personal healing work. They do not want others to

handle them. So, if someone else touches them, they might get cranky with me

for a bit. Sometimes it can be unavoidable as there are people who will

just touch things in other peoples spaces without asking if it is ok first

(regardless of what it is) , others are more respectful and ask first. I have

on more then one occasion has someone just outright grab at a pendant I am

wearing to take a closer look at it. That is a VERY invasive thing to

one's personal space. So, while sometimes it has been unavoidable, the crystals

may still get cranky about it.

 

While I was looking at your amethyst pics, I looked at some of you other

crystals as well. The one you have labeled as " purps " and the other sparkly

purple one labels as " noidea " are lepidolite (very good calming stone as it

has nature lithium in it). The one marked as " orange " is a calcite (either

honey or amber due to it's color). The one marked " cluster " could be a pale

amethyst cluster, " beauty " could be a form of sunstone,

I purchased a smaller amethyst twin and placed it next to the other amethyst

they seem to work well together.

the usual place today and it was raining no luck. Yet online found the ones

which go with them. While trawling ebay of all places! I think I migth have over

spent at £9.00. I think I did ok?

Aloha Creative and all. . . Nice to read your story. . . there are some crystals

that seem to want 'buddies' and they do work differently when together.  They

markings on the larger piece were of interest and reminded me of some on

markings I've seen on Lemurians.  )'(  Skye

 

 

I have just bought the Amethyst a friend. I found the crystal in a Museum of all

places in a gift shop ! It is much smaller and has 2 points on the top and some

yellow/brown veins throughout. It is quite sweet.I like it.

  Which is probably a good thing as the crystal is a little bossy. The larger

piece has an edge to it where the smaller crystal fits near perfect. I am

wondering if it is infact from the same peice. That would be very strange.

I had a problem trying to get home as I was stuck in town for 2 hours. I spent

one in museum and made my way to the head of Zeus and had a general moan at it.I

spent the next hour running from shop to shop in a downpour. Purchasing too much

pasta in a supermarket because I was hungry!

Then came the thunder blackness and lightening. The streets were flooding in

town.

 

It is still going on. It was a magical day though and I love storms so, to be

fair I was in my element and well, it's a good chance to clear the gemstones.

The cat however, is slightly upset as, she can't go outside in it and the chair

is her favourite place to drink from. (She likes rainwater especially paddling

in it)

 

They are outside in the rain again and the two seem to have great energy.

I think the two crystals seem happy and I will add to them in the future. I

think it would be worthwhile to.

I also stopped in a shop in town I forgot to mention that. I asked for flourite

and selenite.

I wanted to say thank you for naming the crystal. Purps sits under my pillow. I

like it around me.

I looked at some Sunstone online but unsure if there is a darker sunstone

around. The piece has no white markings on it. The photo wouldnt develope too

You speak of some Crystals needing mates.  How can you tell if a specific

Crystal has this need?  Do you use them both, together, at the same time?  If

you do, please tell me how.

I find it like pairing up people some people get along and some don't. So, I

connect to the spirit attatched to the crystal and see where they need to be.

Sometimes I have found they work in a pair and until I purchase other's the

energy won't work for me.

I have found crystals can get grumpy and temperamental like people there is no

way of knowing how a person is going to react when we meet them and it's pretty

much that way with how I feel about crystals.
