[CrystalHW] Bi-Polar & Depression

Hello.  I am Bi-Polar and have been doing well for a while now ( I take my

medication!).  But, tonight,  I can feel the depression coming on.  I'm fighting

it hard as I can.  Which

Crystal(s) and/or Stone(s) can I use to help me fight this,  please? And where

on the

body should I place it/them?  Thanks Everybody,  Love & Enlightenment,   Jackie

I feel for you. I wish I could give you a deffinate answer but I can give you

some ideas. I would say to use a pendulum and dowse which crystals would work

best. I would also maybe try a grounding stone, smokey quartz. Or a stone to

uplift you, Citrine, I hope this helps.

What does everyone else feel. I hate lead you astray and you use the wrong

stone and get worse instead of better. Also do you have someone you can talk to

to help pull you through?

Thank you, Kristin;  I have a copper Pendulum that I

bought years ago and have never used it yet!  Because I bought it so long

ago,  I forget I even have until I come across it amongst my " put-away "

Crystals. (SHAME on Me).   Now that you've been so kind as to remind me I

have it,  this would be a good time to take it out and give your suggestion a

try!   I don't have any Smokey Quartz.  I do have some Citrine,  but

something in my " gut "   tells me  that this  is not the Crystal I need to work

with.

So I need suggestions and ideas as to which Crystals I

might try, or try using the

Pendulum on.

            Thanks again,   Jackie

I'm glad someone knew about labadorite, as I have been asked this question

before and did not know of its use with this.  Also, I could not help but notice

that you used a common phrase about " fighting it. "   With challenges and

opportunities for growth I make a conscious effort not to use the word " fight. "

When we fight against what we do not want, it can weaken us; when we work toward

what we do want, it can strengthen and empower us.  This is something I heard

many years ago, and its philosophy made sense to this old peace-nik!!!  I apply

this on the job.  Also, I have bouts of depression and have found that

acknowledging it and working gently toward feeling better is effective.  I use

aventurine and citrine to bring about a sense of well being....carry them in my

pocket through the day, and hold them while meditating.  Of course, placing a

small crystal point with them enhances their effect.

You're right about seeing dealing with the depression as " fighting it " .   I had

known this once,  & I thank you for bringing it to light.  " Fighting it "   is the

equivalent of Swimming

Against the Tide.  Rather than fighting it,  I need to work through it,  I

THINK.  Somebody

please tell me if I'm wrong.  Thank you, Lahna, for your wisdom,   Jackie

You're welcome, Jackie.  Always glad to share what others have taught me.  It's

difficult to " embrace " something that feels the opposite of love, but staying in

" fear " that it won't go away is worse.  I like your analogy of swimming against

the tide; very apropro.

Hi Jackie, good to listen to your gut reguarding the citrine. You know what

your body and mind needs. Maybe try dowsing and ask your pendulum if

labradorite is the right crystal for you. Or just use you instinct and [ick one

that you feel drawn too then use the pendulum to see if you are right about

what you feel?? Just a suggestion.:)
