Hi Chris,

Yes absolutely. But in tumbled form or polished is perfect.  The only time I

would not recommend it is...of course when the form is powdery and easy to

crumble..and when you have excessive copper in the system...copper toxicity,

which is easily ascertained with a hair analysis.  But wearing on the skin is

akin to vibrational medicine as the metals and minerals interact with the metals

and minerals of the body.  This is particularly good if the copper in the body

is in a state of bio-unavailability or low.  Below is a copper personality

profile I excerpted from Dr. Lawrence Miller. Also Azurite is a precursor to

Malachite...which becomes green with oxidation.  It is a psuedomorph.

There exists a high copper personality.  Positive traits include a warm, caring,

sensitive, emotional nature, often with artistic orientation and a child-like

quality.  Often high-copper people are young-looking. Artists, inventors and

other high-copper types often " live on the edge " , in part due to their high

copper level

Many traditionally feminine traits are associated with copper such as softness,

gentleness and intuitiveness.  This may relate to the qualities of metallic

copper, which include softness, malleability and an excellent conductor of

electricity.

When the personality is not fully integrated or the copper becomes too high,

negative traits show up.  These include spaciness, racing thoughts, living in a

dream world and naiveté. Other qualities include childishness, excessive

emotions, sentimentality, a tendency to depression, fearfulness, hidden anger

and resentments, phobias, psychosis and violence.

Hope this is helpful,

Dawn Silver

Hi,

is it safe to put malachite in tumbled form (azurite/malachite tumbled stone)

against the skin?

Still beautiful but do not wear. Once of Cinnabar's main elements is mercury and

you should not wear on the skin.....and not a vibration you want to feel.....

Make sure the azurite ring is not reconstituted.  Naturally azurite is great

next to the skin as is high in copper which converts to copper salts and is

helpful in the formation of anti-oxidant enzymes...good for arthritis and

pushing thru stagnant conditions.. ..even good for cancers.....

want to make a buck.  Take your time learning.... ..and listen to the good

advice this column provides.... also go to local gem shows and learn from some

dealers or local rock shops.  Go within and breathe...what do you think and

feel....it will come.
