Guest guest
I missed the original note... I've been SO gone... I'm going to infer that Bill is closing his doors but he's staying on the list.... Well, I'm glad you're staying Bill, I'm sorry you're closing your doors, that's always hard to do, especially when one commits so much of themselves to make the effort to open them in the first place. I AM glad you're hanging around though, I would miss the zingers that you sometimes sling at me ;-) K Cheers! Guest guest
Bill, Sorry to hear of your decision to close your cyber doors. That had to be a difficult decison to make. For those of us who were customers, you will be missed. Happy to hear that you will be staying on the list and sharing your knowledge with us. I would have responded sooner, but I have been spending a lot of time at the lake as well as having work done on my computer. AOL tech support was lacking, but that was expected. Then trying to catch up with all the digests since July 27 took a bit of time along with burping digests .......... Guest guest
Bill you don't know me but I am sorry to hear that you are closing the door on a business. We are trying to decide if we should shut down the portion of our business that has operated for 35 years. It is not easy. Guest guest
Hi Robin, Welcome to the group! Make yourself at home, comfy and jump right into the fun! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try! - Dr Seuss http://www.alittleolfactory.com <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/> On Behalf Of rowanleighh Hi, my name is Robin and I am a herbalist-wellness/life coach who specializes in wellness coaching for " changing women " . (in other words-perimenopause and beyond) I am also a certified yoga instructor and am working on my hypnotherapy certification. I would love to be an aromotherapist-that is on my to-do list! Provided I can spell it right first! I do like working with natural healing methods, but I love it when my clients want to go deeper and go into the spiritual side of their physical manifestations. I always tell my clients, dis-ease is not something to be managed, or " cured " but to be healed or in the case of a natural change like menopause- " embraced and loved " and that is only to be done when you are wiling to go deeper into the spirit of the dis-ease or dis-stressing signals your body is sending you. So, while I do have what I call my mainstream clients-those clients who want me to say- In the past women have used sage tea for the night sweats, taken some motherwort tincutre and called me in the morning " -I love when my clients are also willing to go deeper into the spiritual side of their menopause. I do " education sessions " -(gotta keep the boys at the AMA and FDA happy, no " consults, or diagnosises or prescriptions on my end!), but right now, its only word of mouth, I am working on my website, and my logo-as I hated the first one my artist did. In fact, I need to find a different more experienced graphic designer-as the image for my logo and my new name- " Woman Rising " came to me in a dream. My vision for my logo is a kind of " abstracty " looking woman with a phoenix rising from inside of her, with fire-boy howdy can alot of " hot women attest to that fire inside!- In any case, I am glad to be here, and I will lurk mostly, but thank you for having me! Guest guest
Hi, Maria, you sound like me!! I have been diagnosed with ibs and advised to eat less insoluble fibre ( stuff like porridge) and to not overload and fruit and veg - which is what I thought I needed to do, I have had some really useful hypnotherapy and will be going back for more and will learn some relaxation excercises. I have decided that work is not worth stressing out over (this has not actually had any effect but I think it might help!!). I hope this helps and things get moving soon. Best wishes, Gina. Sounds like you have an irritable bowel. Prior to menopause I had irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea predominant, but now it's gone the other way, and it's been worrying me. Lately, however, I notice a very dramatic improvement in regularity and ease of bowel movements since I have been consuming approximately a heaping tablespoon of ground flaxseed every other day. On the days when I have a " salad " of yogurt, fruit, and walnuts or pepitas for breakfast, I toss the ground flaxseed in. I didn't even decide to take it specifically for that reason--I was more interested in the nutritional benefit of the omega-3 fatty acids. My diet is strongly whole-foods-oriented--it's not a low-fiber diet, it's moderate to high in fiber depending on my stress level. So my impression is that this flaxseed is some pretty special stuff from a bowel-function point of view. If you haven't tried it already it probably can't hurt--although no two irritable bowel sufferers seem to have the exact same triggers, so you never know. -Avalon

Guest guest
I don't post a lot on the group I have to admit....lol....I'll try to do better. I am into all kinds of things like spell casting, crystal energy, rieki, and whatever else I can get my hands into. I highly recommend this website if anyone is interested in learning some awesome stuff http://www.curiouscurandera.com There are some online courses that sound really good. I took two of them and loved it. There are courses for working spells with saints, crystals, witchcraft, and spiritual cleansings. OMG the crystal course is great! I think they are going to be adding tarot, angels, and divination courses too. Anyway it's worth a look. Does anyone have any suggestions for cleansing bath?
