Guest guest
Dear Friends, I am posting a new arrival in our store for you. If this is not an appropriate post then please forgive me. In Tucson we were able to pick some very affordable Ajoite Quartz pieces. We have not been able to have this price range in the past so this is a great chance to be able to afford an Ajoite Quartz and work with this unconditional love energy. Do be warned that there is a stone out there that is actually Chrysocolla in Quartz that is sold as Ajoite Quartz Rough. This is false and please don't be taken in by it. You can find it all over the place it seems on Ebay. In gratitude, John Van Rees http://www.exquisitecrystals.com
Guest guest
Hi John, I was wondering if you could tell me how it is possible to know whether the stone you have is genuinely ajoite quartz? I have a piece of rough which was sold to me as ajoite quartz, and looks like ajoite quartz, but...... is there an easy way to tell for sure?? Thanks and blessings, Vicky john Thu, 19 Feb 2009 09:18:41 -0800 [CrystalHW] Affordable Ajoite Dear Friends, I am posting a new arrival in our store for you. Guest guest
Vicky, Sad to say.. if it was sold as Ajoite Rough.. it probably isn't. You can send me a picture to webmaster if you want and I will be happy to take a look at it. We actually bought a bunch of this years ago after being told it was Ajoite from a large east coast dealer. Another friend had the same material tested and it came back as Chrysocolla. They are both copper minerals so look very much the same. When it is in rough white quartz, it is really hard to tell the difference.
