Guest guest Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 I've experienced the true euphoria as well as the healing when I had a Crystal Healer. Unfortunately, I moved from So. Cal (where New Age doesn't frighten a lot of people) to KANSAS where if I bring up anything like Crystals for use and healing, folks tend to think I've gone off the deep edge. I cannot learn and develop healing abilities if I have NObody who'll even THINK about trying a healing. So my focus now is on learning to give myself these healings (I sure miss having a healer). I've found a few references in your articles which give info on self- healings. I'd like to know as much as is known, please. Perhaps a couple of articles focusing in depth on self-healing. ODDS & ENDS: Discussing re-charging crystals by placing them in the sunlight, I've learned that you have to be careful. I was placing ALL my crystals in the sun, until I found out that the sun will BLEACH the purple out of Amethyst....Bleach or remove the color somehow. I'd also like to know if anyone knows of any other crystals that should avoid the sun? In one of the articles, a statement was made indicating that ALL ROCKS are healing in someway. I have also learned this. I was recently scrubbing the dirt off of a stone of mixed rock with SOME minerals running through it. Once washed the stone was so striking and to me, was a piece of nature's art. I was so moved, I placed the rock in the palm of my left hand, and the covered THAT with the palm of my right hand. Then I waited for a possiblity that MAYBE the stone might heat up. It did not. BUT, the stone definetly had an enormous amount of energies. I felt my hands tingling as my energy level was being re-charged; as I absorbed the intense energies, both of my hand pulsated rapidly and in a strong rythm! I definetly urge everyone to try those rocks and stones which are NOT mostly minerals, as well as the onces that seem devoid of ANY minerals. I have read that even GRANITE, which up until that time, I'd referred to as " poop-rock " , can be used. It was said that Granite's energies were usually weak and may even be not felt at all. I have yet to experiment with this and plan to do so soon--if nothing else, just out of curiosity. I have picked up quartz rocks of various shades and densities for about a year now, from my property and other areas, that have seemed to call to me. I take them inside, wash them up, and display them. They do have wonderful energy and I love the natural shapes of them. Some have had amazing markings - I have one stone that has several crosses marked quite clearly on both sides, and I keep this one with me in my purse. Never overlook those more common stones and rocks - they have a strong natural power within them. Kathe Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Gee, it would have great if it turned out that you lived here or close by! I have found about 6 people so far who collect rocks, but they don't seem to be aware of healing properties nor crystal healings. " Do you have any modalities that work on distant healing? If so, then maybe you would start that way (as well as yourself), by contacting some of your crystal healer and other friends of the same of all areas of the world that you know and go from there. Have faith and some hope that someone in your area will " come out of the closet " , remember there is always someone like minded near us, we just don't always know it. It may be meant for you to be the person to bring it to this area and spread the knowledge of crystal healing. It could be as simple as someone visiting your home sees your stones and inqures.... The person who said a leader in their church and astrology replied this way, " people only have fear of what they do not understand " is very wise and applies in any area of life, it indeed applies to all of us. " Perhaps a couple of articles focusing in depth on self-healing. " Have you been trained through any course instruction on healing? If so, can you tell me which ones? Can you apply the instructions in these modalities to self healing? Just some thoughts... Personally, I found having a energy healing modality by class instruction was a good basis for expandtion to build on from there. " Energy healing " understanding is best to come first and build on it with stone and other areas of interest for your path. If you hadn't had this I just wanted to mention this. Lots of great articles and books can assist, but there is nothing like a few class one on one instructions in energy healing, (or other interest like stones, pendulum, etc what ever your interest are). I realize that you live in a more remote area of the country - but are you close to any type of larger city? Have you checked in the state to see where the nearest crystal methapahsical shop might be? Some aveneues to try as well. Even if a " stone store " is on line, but close enough to drive they ususally will let you come in person (this is one way to find those in the closet in your state).. I have also learned this " When I was a child I would go to my grandparents home on 100 acres in northern Alabama (the state name isn't Alabama the beautiful for nothing!!) their driveway was of stones. I use to pick them up as a child and collect a few of them. I wish I had them today. I have found myself picking up rocks from all types of locations and bringing them home with me to use. Just cleaned them all today and they are outside awaiting the full moon light of tonight!
