Greetings,

What is the best stone to protect me from the attacks of my ex-husband?

He refuses to pay child support and is now taking me to court to prove

that he doesn't have to, which he does.

It is too much agression and ugliness.

Thanks.

Maria

My personal favorite for " negative energy " protection is black tourmaline.

Personally I would use a combination of Smokey Quartz and Rose quartz. It

wouldn't hurt to carry a piece of Lepidolite either. Smokey quartz for

protection and repelling of negative energies. Rose quartz for love and

compassion. And Lepidolite for it's calming effects.

Blessings to your eve all.

Aloha Rebecca. . . . using crystals and minerals is often a matter of

experimenting. If occured to you (one form of intuition) to try Tiger Eye, try

it. If a stone is 'working' you WILL feel a subltle difference. Place it

another part of body or substitute it with another stone of same kind. Two

pieces of Tigers Eye may look similar, yet each is a seperate entity, perhaps

from a different location or with a higher hematite content. Using any crystal

or mineral by having it touch the body allows exchange of energy in a more

direct and sometimes more effective manner.

My own personal experience with using a 'grounding' stone at solar plexus was

to use a Pyrite sun tucked under my belt for a few days shortly after I had had

a network chiropractic treatment. During treatment practitioner had kept

telling my not to adjust my neck from an uncomfortable position and I

reluctantly agreed. I found myself the next day feeling angry beyond reason and

extremely irritable about anything and everything. When I got a ticket for

speeding later that day I was forced to acknowledge that something needed to be

done. And right away!

So I trotted down to the rock shop knowing that the answer was there. The

first stone that caught my eye was the Pyrite. It was an unusual piece that was

smooth and round and somewhat puffy like an egg. I purchased it an left. About

3 " across and an inch thick it was too heavy to carry in pocket and not be

extremely noticable, so I tucked it behind wasteband of jeans I was wearing.

Wow! Instant relief! It stayed there for the next three days when it seemed

that it's work was done and I gratefully put it aside.

A few weeks later I was describing the experience to a friend and when I

handed the piece to him it fell apart in his hand. Neither of us had seen this

happen before, so were amazed. I took the crumbled pieces and a few days later

created ceremony to bury the pieces in the earth and express my gratitude. For

me this involved drumming and chant that I created to 7 directions (east, south,

north, west, above, below, within) in Lahkota tradition. During ceremony I

realized that I still held some anger toward practitioner and needed to work on

letting that go. Surprisingly (or not!) I ran into him the next day. He said

he did not realize that he had not been listening to me, apologized and offered

another free treatment.

Lesson for me was one that I am still learning to this day- " Speak up when

necessary " . My childhood 'issues' involve believing that even if I do speak up

that no one in listening. Years of frustration led to deciding to become

silent. It still takes a conscious effort to overcome that tendency, but I am

getting better at that. And recognizing that whenever I feel stuck or Ifind

myself in a repeating an old pattern there is always a stone that is willing to

share its Wisdom!

So be patient and enjoy the process of learning! If you have similar stone

stories please feel welcome to send them to me at mauiskye1.
