Guest guest
Thank you Dawn, Point well taken about lasers. When I worked in the middle school as a teacher's aide, I once bumped into a man at the public library who was a geologist or sometime like that. He goes to the mines etc. His company makes those engraved business signs into large slabs of rock. Anyway, he saw me checking out a large amount of books on rocks/crystals etc. I asked if he would be interested in coming to our class and talk with about the formation and show us some. He brought some different kinds that the students could buy. This was a real treat for the special ed students. He gave a real good talk and kept the students interest. We had our picture in the paper. It was a fun day. I am just so amazed how such beautiful crystals can be found under our feet, in caves, from volcanoes and under what we call dirt. How many people take dirt for granted and even the rocks, etc. I am also in awe of their maginficance. I love holding them thinking how they were formed and how many years it took. It makes me more grateful for them. I think about how they once they were liquid and then when cooled could become so hard. I love volcanoes too. I am in awe with them too. Trees are magnificent too. How can something so strong bend and flow with such strong winds during storms. I so appreciate mother nature and her wonders on all levels. Just for the record, to me all rocks are beautiful and have a purpose. Can you imagine what our lives today would be like with any rocks/gems/crystals? Hey! that could be a trivia question. Or a quiz question; to name all things that include rocks/gems/ crystals/minerals etc. LOL It would be a long list I am sure. Thank you for the heartfelt wishes. I plan on having a good day even with the fresh fallen snow. I am going to take my reactive Sheltie to get her first picture with Santa. LOL We will see how that turns out. She will have been we me for one year the week before Christmas and was afraid of everything that moved, made a sound, or just different. She has come a long way. She is my special needs girl. She loves the large milky quartz and a couple of others if I put them on the floor. She too is a Reiki girl and loves it. With both we both are covered. LOL Have yourself a great day! Hugs. Kicked in the mouth and shattered to front portion of the jaw, a least one broken rib and hind quarters weren't quite right. I used reiki on them all the time. some took it better and absorbed it quite well and other would take it for short periods of time. I have admired crystals / gems etc but decided to get better acquinted with and start learning about them and thought this would be a good place to start would be this group. elaine h. newbie
