Guest guest
Hi there! I was wondering if any one can tell me if a rose quartz can shrink? I'm almost postive that I one I was using for quite awhile has gotten smaller. Can that happen? Thank you, Candi
Guest guest
Greetings and Salutations Candi and all, I have had experience with some of the crystals in my care still growing but I cannot say I have had any shrink unless they were water soluble and got wet accidentally! Rose quartz is a hard crystal though and does not dissolve in water. Is it possible that it's energies have just lessened and thus you " feel " it may have shrunk Blessings to your eve all. Guest guest
Candi, It's definitely possible. I had an emerald that I worked with extensively in my healing work get noticeably smaller. I measure the stones that I use for my practice, so I had documentation of the change in size. It's energies still felt the same, and it had been regularly cleared and charged but I put it aside and let it rest for awhile. I've also had crystals get larger, grow " babies, " and change color. When you work with a stone, you're combining your energies with the stone's energy, this can cause physical changes in the stone, it's not anything bad or negative, it's just the stone responding to your energy field.
