Guest guest
Aloha Cindy and Kakou. . .I gave away crystals a few month ago that I'd had in a personal stash to a person always looking for something special. I realized right away that they meant more to me that they did to him, and no matter how hard I tried to ignore issue, it kept coming back. I finally mustered up courage to call him and explain my error and he kindly gave them back with no hesitation. Whew! was I relieved. I sometimes share crystals 'on loan' with those I feel relate to their sensitivity asking that they return them when time is right. Using a pendulum asking the question. . . . Is this crystal ready and willing to be passed on to another caretaker? might be a useful technique in determining best choice in future. He crossed over this week, so things should be getting better energetically, but she and her family are exhausted. I am trying to figure out if this sadness or grief is an echo of my friend's emotions or if it is my reluctance to part with my buddies. I feel a little selfish even asking this question. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas? Thanks- Cindy P.S. My volunteers were a beautiful geode of celestite, a lovely black kyanite fan, a DT black tourmaline, a citrine cathedral formation, a copper sphere, and a gorgeous green chlorite phantom clear quartz. Tumbles who chose to join the effort were obsidian, yellow jasper, amethyst, amber, chrysocolla, and black tourmaline. I know they were meant to go and bring relief, protection, healing and peace, but how I miss them!! --- The Crystal healing workshop files are online at http://pjentoft.com/0crystal-healing.html some files, photos, and message archives can also be found At:
Guest guest
Thank you, Skye- It helps to know that I can ask for them again if needed. My friend will take great care of them, I know, and they may bring her to learn about and love crystals as we all do. Guest guest
I have experienced separation anxiety, too! LOL I try to understand that they need to be where they end up. Some have come home and maybe yours will, too, after their work is done. To feel better I went out and got more! I asked, and they volunteered to go and help her and her family. But I feel this sense of loss now that they are away from me! Let me tell you a story that occurred 6 years ago now. I will start with saying that Red Tailed Hawk (RTH for short) is my birth/primary totem. There was a RTH I would see regularly on my drive to and from work. It would occasionally be perched atop a pine tree at the bottom of a hill/road that I drove daily to and from work or I would watch it soar while stopped at the nearby traffic lights. One afternoon on the drive home from work there was a dead hawk on the road (hill) that the position of the hawk only presented his breast feather about half way up the hill (there are also coopers hawks and sharp shinned in the area that have similar breast markings and colors) . It is rush hour traffic and a winding hill with no burm to speak of, just guide rail on that side. I could not stop and do anything. So early the next morning (due to laws of possession of hawk feathers and parts), I went back to the location to retrieve the hawk for giving it a proper burial. I of course was hoping that it was NOT " my " hawk, but deep down I knew it was. I found this out once I was able to move it and see it's red tail feathers. I literally burst into tears as I gently picked it up and placed it into a plastic bag ~cringe~ to transport home to prepare for a proper burial. For my efforts I was allowed to keep a couple things. Since I also connect and resonate with the Egyptian pantheon and Hours and Isis, I wrap my RTH in Egyptian fabric and that eve, took him to a special place. It happened to be full moon then. So, I buried him in this special place and with him (as thanks for his guidance and gifts), the very first quartz crystal point I had ever purchased. I missed this crystal for a while but until your question came up, I had not thought about the crystal for a few years now. Sometimes crystals come into our lives for us to work with for a while and then pass on to someone else who needs it more or in this case passed on to honor one who has passed. Some crystals have come into my life that I knew were not even meant for me at all, I was just their transport to their intended keeper. I even had a friend ask me if a few of his crystals could come to my home for a visit and stay with my crystals for a while to recharge and heal. They had been used in some intensive cancer healing work and needed a break. This friend had been to my place and seen all the crystals and felt the wonder-full energies and felt his crystals would benefit from time here. When I returned them to him (at their request the day of a local Unity Ritual we were having and they wanted to be a part of it), he literally giggled like a schoolboy when he held them because of how happy and energized they were again. Crystals will come and crystals will go but they always leave an impression and an energetic mark on those they touch. Thankfully it is all good from them! Blessings to your eve all.
