First he should seek help from a support group such as AA. My husband is a very active member with his home group (he was already sober before he and I met and started dating but right up front about his problem). He could try amethyst, although the way amethyst is supposed to work where alcohol is concerned is that is does not allow the drinker to get drunk. I have not personally experimented with this, so I cannot say for certain. Guest guest
My son who is 19 and a junior in college decided that drinking a lot is fun. Every week he gets drunk. So drunk in fact that he has been doing stupid things and his friends have called his attention that if he continues they will not hang out with him. Now, he wants not to do it but apparently he hasn't been able to. Is there a crystal that could help him out? What do you think? Thanks, Maria

Guest guest
Hi Maria, Here are a few stones that would be good for your son to try. Tumbled stones in his money pocket is like a touch stone to remind him what was once just fun now has consequences. Carnelian for detoxing and breaking bad habits Dendritic or Purple Sage Agate for overcoming addictions Amethyst for overcoming addictions Unakite for eliminating or bad habits and overconsumption Tiger Iron for giving up addictive habits Amethyst has been the stone of choice for hundreds of years. Hope this helps him tone down or quit. Raelene
