Tom, If Reiki was to strong for you look into Emotional Freedom Tapping or EFT. Its gentle and does aim for specific areas and problems you might need help with. I honestly don't feel EFT is the right modality. the tapping is too abrupt for me, and I really need something that's going to help soothe and re-balance my neurological and central nervous systems. Donna Eden and Energy Medicine have any number of techniques that could prove helpful and are gentle at the same time. She has a number of film clips on You Tube and has two books out as well as an Energy Medicine kit packed with information. Hold a piece in receiving hand (if right handed, usually the left) and allowing waves of energy to pulse through body might be a good. I've seen very cleansing and emotionally healing happen for those using Rose Quartz. As I sense its energy right now surrounding you I feel a much needed emotional releaase happening. Many of those who purchase from our booth sleep with it held in hand or put under pillow. Blue Lace Agate is another very calming and stone that assists with coming forward with speaking one's truth in a very gently and self loving way.
