They are pretty and my son is facinated by them. I know they hold life's energy. My son is 13 and he is autistic. I always thought his facination with crystals and rocks was part of his autism; until I started to research alternative healing. My son has been collecting all kinds of rocks since he was very small. He has some very favorite ones and some he keeps " just because " . Very recently the lymph nodes in his body swelled up and being autistic he couldn't handle the idea of having a " bump " on him. The bump was located on his stomach above his belly button and it felt like a pebble. He went out to the back yard and found a new rock, brought it in, placed it in the freezer, and spent the next few days placing in on his bump while it was cold. I thought he had cleared all the rocks out of the yard already but I was wrong. His bump went away by the end of the week and my son is happy again. He calls it his special rock. It just looks like an ordinary everyday rock to me but to him it has energy that he needs. So I am here to learn about rocks and crystals so that I can understand my son a little better.
