NEW: Seeking an experienced crystal healer

I have been on a quest for good health since an injury in 2000. I'm an

extremely sensitive person, and energies like reiki, accupuncture, and

other energetic modalities have proven far too turbulent for me.

The suggestion was made that rock/crystal healing might be less

invasive and far more subtle than these other modalities. However, I

can't find anyone in my area (Wisconsin) who has enough experience to

take my case. I'm coming to this group with the hope of finding an

experienced practitioner (and I don't care where you're from).

I'll welcome any replies.

Hi Tom-

I'm in WI, but I'm not a practitioner, just an enthusiast. I do have a

question, though.

Why do you feel the need for " another " to heal you? You can learn and

heal yourself. Madison has a couple of neat rock shops, if you are

near there. Chicago has a number of them too. Hold various stones in

your hand until you find one that you connect with, and that is not

too strong for you. And this group has lots of wisdom. :)

I believe you have the ability to re-attune, and your ill health may

be a precursor to major spiritual growth for you. I would suggest the

jaspers and agates for starters, as they have quieter energy. Botswana

agate is very gentle and healing. I would suggest you keep a good

grounding stone near you, to help when the growth gets intense.

Brecciated jasper, hematite, and obsidian are grounding stones, and

there are others.

Study, learn, meditate, be open to the new. Blessings on your path!

Hi Tom,

Crystal Healing is great energy work as are all of the other modalities that

you mention. And also like you said, there right one works for the right

people. Have you tried Shamanic Energy work? It works with your own energy

field and removing what you haold energetically there.

Thanks for the reply. My case is far too complicated for me to tinker

with on my own. I really need to find someone with experience who can

help me choose wisely.

This seems like a diverse group and hopefully I'll make some connections.

On the one hand all healing is self healing or at least one must be an

active participant in terms of will and intention.

On the other hand one of the most significant weakness of our society is

the idea that one must do everything for oneself independently. In Fact

cooperation is a key element of civilization and of healing . Illness

arises from imbalance one of the most frequent causes of imbalance at

this time and place stems from an inability or unwillingness to

cooperate and open emotionally with and to others.

This may or may not have anything to do with your issues but seeking

help from others is an important part of much healing the group can be

more effective than an individual working alone.

Hi Tom,

Just try this technic whenever you get time in a day or time. You can either

practise this technic 20 Minutes straight or in capsules of five minutes.

You can either combine this with other daily routine or allocate some time

and place for this practise.

Do not try to control you breathe. Let your breathe be as natural as it used

to be.

Keep your eyes closed or open as you wish.

1) Just observe your breathe as you inhale and exhale for few minutes.

2) (then) Mentally chat " So " when you inhale and " Hum " when you exhale.

repeat step two for five to twnety minutes a day for six months.

Let me know how you feel after this exercise.

Love and Light to you,

Vinil

Thanks to you and others who responded to my post. I'm still looking

for answers and assistance.

I'm a brain injury survivor (eight years now) and my biggest problem

has to do with vertigo and balance issues. Those problems were made

worse recently after a bad experience with reiki. I had an appointment

nine days that was way too intense and sent me into vertigo that

nearly required hospitalization. My neurological system is still

disrupted and in need of balancing.

I'm searching for gentle techniques I can apply to help bring things

back to normal, and I'll welcome any opinions.

Tom,

My understanding is that malachite is a good stone for treating vertigo. I am

just starting to do some crystal healing, primarily in the context of companion

animals. My particular area of interest is rabbits, who are extremely sensitive

individuals much like yourself. I also have a particular interest in stones that

can help with vertigo because rabbits frequently suffer from a condition called

" head tilt " . Causes of this condition vary, but one of the primary symptoms is

vertigo.

My suggestion would be to purchase a small tumbled piece of malachite -- choose

one that appeals to you as having " gentle " energy. Good luck

Hi Tom,

I don't know, but I think it could be worth your while finding and

talking to a very experienced Craniosacral therapist and explaining

about you and asking if they could help. I went to one after a bad

fall where I seriously hurt my head and he gave me relief. It's

very gentle and they really just encourage your body to right itself

at its own rate. Worth enquiring.

I wonder if acupuncture could help? If you follow that route, make

sure your therapist has gone through the full training that the

chinese ones do, ie years worth.

Another thought - Colouruncture? Again, make sure a therapist has

done a lot of training, talk to Peter Mandell and see if he feels it

could help you. He's in Germany and is the creator of the therapy.

Homeopathy may also be helpful - I just took a remedy a couple of

months ago that finally seemed to help me fully recover from that

head injury, the injury was abouit 3 years ago!

I'm sure you'll find what you need.

  • 4 weeks later...

Muriel,

Thanks for posting. The modalities you described are things I've

already done and they were far too turbulent for me. I simply couldn't

handle them.

At the moment, I haven't had much luck with crystals either... they

were simply too much energy for me. I'm still trying to find something

gentle that will help calm and balance my system.

I'm still fielding suggestions and I appreciate the replies I've had

thus far.

As this thread is over a month old now (if I am not mistaken) - I do not

recall if anyone made the suggestion of Bach Flower Essences?

_http://www.bachflower.com/_ (http://www.bachflower.com/)

Personally I have not tried them myself but I have never heard anything

negative about them, only positive things.

Blessings to your eve all.
