Seasonal Crystals ?

We have never discussed which crystals seem affiliated with and help

with the issues of particular seasons

and of course some stones remind us of a particular season by reason of

color or energy etc. or even because of a memory or because of when

and where we met a particular stone

This is the beginning of fall in the Northern Hemisphere a time of

harvest and the time when in temperate regions much of the plant life

begins to go dormant , the birds fly south creatures that hibernate may

begin to seek burrows, squirrels franticly gather supplies against the

winter etc,.

For some reason I associate Pyrite/ Marcacite nodules and tubes with

the Autumn as well as with Summer and Many of the Jaspers not just

because of the colors some carry but because of a kind of solid

supportive warming healing energy . The color of Mangano Calcite may

remind some of Spring and Cherry blossoms but for me the healing and

comforting qualities are particularly helpful in Fall and Winter

I'd like you all to share what crystals you associate and call on for

each season given that it is Autumn Probably that will be the main

focus but I'd like to know which stones have any seasonal association

for you and which you call on for the particular needs of each seaon

Hmmm... you most certainly

have me thinking on this

issue. I like to use Lapis

Lazuli and Sodalite for

winter, oh Summer,

defintely, Sunstone,

Citrine and for Fall

Charoite, Sugilite ,Emerald

( I've been holding a

piece of Emerald ever

since the Autumn Equinox)

and for Spring Amber,

Chrysoprase,and Danburite.

 

When I'm not misplacing (

or he goes off and rests

up for awhile before

reappearing) my personal (

teacher) crystal is what I

mostly work with.

Interesting question-

 

Winter was garnet, lapis, moonstone, and amethyst

Spring was more chrysocolla and jade, and amethyst. Some calcites as well.

Summer and sunstone, I agree--

I also spent a fair amount of time with black tourmaline this summer.

I enjoyed the jaspers as well- leopard skin and picture jasper.

Now, for fall, carnelian, citrine, and amber, also the tourmaline nd

obsidian. I wore an amber pendant today and felt warm and flushed for

hours. Anyone else ever feel this from amber?
