Choosing a crystal for someone else

Hi!

I'm new here, but I have a question about choosing a crystal for my mother. I

really want her to have a smokey quartz because she has bouts of depression, but

she wants a clear quartz and wants me to pick it out because she can't feel or

hear anything from crystals and I can. The question is, how will I know the

crystal is the right one for my mother and it is not talking to me? I only use

crystals and their energy for myself and communication with my horses and my

spirit guide and my animal spirit guide and have not used it on or for anyone

else.

Hi Susan ..... oh a crystal will talk to you even if it is only to tell you

that it is meant for someone else. I have picked crystals up and had them jump

right back out of my hand, which tells me they are not for me (or someone I

would be the transport for the crystal to get to). I have had crystals

literally " scream " at me that they were for a friend. Then again, I was always

gifted with intuitive shopping skills .... heehee even clothing would scream at

me that it is perfect for a certain someone .... lol

 

Your mom would like a clear quartz, so go with that but that does not mean

you can't get her a smokey quartz also. If you feel she will benefit from that,

the clear quartz can actually amplify the smokey's healing energies.

Hi Susan,

 

As the crystals are in front of just before you touch them ask for one for your

Mother and the appropriate one will go home with you.  To help with depression

you might want to add an amethyst and a rose quartz.  She could also try a

chakra balancing... that helps me when I'm feeling down... I feel renewed and

refreshed.

 

I've picked up many crystals and rocks that I knew weren't for me and eventually

the owner would show up to collect them.  This has happened with various members

of family and friends.  At first I didn't get why I was bringing home stones I

knew didn't resonate with me and I would put them away and forget about them. 

Then someone would ask do you have a stone for this or that and I would smile

and think ok... NOW I know why... and I no longer question.

OK, I figured, but I had never chosen one for someone else. Also, Mom won't

meditate and talk to it, she will just expect it to help (so it will!) but I

plan on sending it distant Reiki to help the energy along. I'll start her with

the clear, then buy her others one at a time. Have to ease her in, you know!

 

On the positive, I took all my stones to her house yesterday, and had her hold

them one at a time with her eyes closed and just " feel " them as I talked about

each stone. Much to her surprise, she " felt " things with some and nothing with

others. Even if she can't put to words what she felt, I told her the stones

were talking to her and in time, she would know what they were saying.
