The insurance provides chiropractors, massage therapits, etc. But you have to be REFERRED to one of them - and a DOCTOR is the one who decides who you see, how often you see them. It takes away my freedom of choice for who I want to see and how often I want to see them.....it takes away my ability to be responsible for me. These chiros and massage therapists and reikki people are still under the umbrella of the insurance company. And a Doctor is still dictating my choices. And the ONLY reason I have life insurance is so that I know that my animals will be taken care of......I won't care when I am gone. Guest guest
I am totally with you on this one! I do major amounts of research before I even take anything just for myself. There is so much information out there that it is very easy nowadays to thoroughly study something to where you could possibly know more about any particular thing than someone who is a professional in any given field. We have to all be aware of who we put our faith in. I can't remember who made the comment before, but it is true...the government agencies know that they can't make a buck off of someone who self treats and does so homeopathically. We are all thorns in the drug companies sides...and we'd better never stop being able to be!!! Hugs (stepping off of my soapbox now!) Guest guest
My thoughts on this are that many (not you DOC) have a shingle and are by no means qualified.... and many who don't are so knowledgeable that they will never in a lifetime be able to pass on all the knowledge they have stored in their brains.. A piece of paper means only that you were able to study well, were good at taking tests, etc... but can you put to use what you learned? Are you compassionate about what you do? Do you want to heal or just make money at it? Medicos take an oath.... but do they live up to that oath?... To me it is not so much the degree as the knowledge within... JUST GIVING YOU ALL SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT...... It's a consumer beware type of thing and up to each person to check out the credentials of the herbalist.Personally, I like to see some academic work at some sort of school of natural medicine versus someone who reads Herbs 101 and then opens up shop. I realize this is a bias on my part and there are no doubt qualified people who couldn't get away to a proper school, and people who went to a proper school and barely passed.....but I'm just not comfortable placing my health in the hands of someone who has maybe read one more book than I have, or perhaps none at all. Guest guest
I am one of their ''mistakes''. I've let them do surgery on me and then again and then again... took the little pills they gave me without even checking the names.. was just to trusting and ended disabled. It has been 4 years now and I still have side effects from the medication but they don't want to recognize it. It is all in my head they say. List of symptoms: Stroke-like symptoms Pain in tendons, muscles and nerves, Extreme fatigue loss of hearing loss of vision (double and blind spot) Memory loss (short term) Tremors Water retention High blood pressure High blood glucose High count of Live Enzymes Renal problems Dizziness Loss of control of my bladder and a few more. Just because of an anti-fungal and antibiotic. I am not taking any of their scrap anymore. Herbal as much as I can. And researching as much as I can... when I remember what I learn..LOL I need a lot of little notes and a good system on my computer. :-) So now ask me if I trust the FDA? Guest guest
Now that's a tough one! I looked through my files and had nothing, so I went on a search. Didn't find a single recipe! I would suggest adding 2 leaves to the filter when brewing coffee and maybe including it in a chocolate mousse. Kelly Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free. Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am just curious how does someone dye a stone. I came across a dyed blue agate stone today and even though I knew it was dyed I had to have it. After I bought it I started to wonder how a stone is dyed? what did they do to my stone to make it blue? and why did it want me to buy it and why did I want to buy it? Thanks Jessica
Guest guest
I don't particularly like dyed stones, mostly because I think it's unnecessary, however at the end of the day, the stone is still agate, that much can't be changed by dye, perhaps you just needed the agate, or perhaps its the particular colour that it has been dyed which is what will most benefit you. One of the very best things you can do is sit and meditate with the stone and find out first hand why you had to buy it. Just sit quietly, close your eyes or gaze into it and just accept whatever comes into your mind....you have a better understanding of why you needed it than the suppositions that we can supply, you just need to access your subconscious to find out. just my opinion Vick - addysmum2003 Tuesday, July 08, 2008 6:09 AM [CrystalHW] Just curious Hello everyone, I am just curious how does someone dye a stone. Guest guest
, " addysmum2003 " <addysmum wrote: > I am just curious how does someone dye a stone. Dyeing stones deals with introducing some pigment into the interior through a crack or fissure prior to the rock tumbling process, most likely. It is typically done with Agates and other stones where there may be open spaces (Citrine), pockets of water trapped inside, or where there is soft enough matter that will take the color. Not all stones can be dyed in this way. Although a dyed stone can be beautiful in and of itself, there is controversy as wot whether its metaphysical properties are decreased to some extent. I personally do not find this to be the case; however, after a stone is dyed it cannot be used to make elixirs, which is what I like to do. I hope this helps...
