Guest guest
Congratulations Peggy! Quite a selection of music. Now.. I find it interesting that you like the Lizzie Bordon but draw the line on Montavani. ;-) In gratitude, John At 10:39 AM 6/17/2008, you wrote: >I'm still around and have been following the threads but have not had >time to write much lately trying to stretch my creativity, improve my >fitness and deal with various mundane events. Guest guest
You've got much to celebrate. I will say I'm jealous of the USB turntable. Like you, I have a large collection of vinyl that I would love to put on the computer, but unfortunately, they are too expensive and I can't afford them right now. Enjoy!! Blessings, Bobbi ---- rosequartz <rosequartz wrote: > I'm still around and have been following the threads but have not had > time to write much lately trying to stretch my creativity, improve my > fitness and deal with various mundane events. Guest guest
I'm still around and have been following the threads but have not had time to write much lately trying to stretch my creativity, improve my fitness and deal with various mundane events. Turned 60on the 10th Considering that I was at one time I was not expected to see twelve thats doing pretty good . Our 28th wedding anniversary is on the 20th. My granddaughter turned 13 on the 9th and my oldest daughter turns 33 on the 30th Our present for these anniversaries is a USB turntable so the we ( and that means me) can put some tracks from our huge eclectic collection of old vinyl records into a modern format so far all I've done is Lizzie Borden, Super Skier, Bang on the Drum and Stepping Out have a stack of Joan Jet and men at work and Pete Seeger lined up and after that I'm looking for the Ima Sumac, Dion, Chuck Berry and some of the classical piano pieces next . I had thought my spouse would enjoy doing this but he would rather enjoy me doing it for him I draw the line at Montavani and 100 strings etc. though so if he wants that he will have to do himself. I was also given some nice standing quartz from China and am getting to know them now. Any way just to let you know I'm still around . Hope you areal doing well Peggy -- Solarraven http://pjentoft.com/index.html On Skills for the Practical Mystic, Spiritual Healing, Energy work, Reiki, Crystal Healing, Angels, Huna, Digital Art & scrapbooking, and more

Guest guest
Oh..... *LOL*... I assumed there was some punk band or hard metal band or something like that named Lizzie Bordon... Oh well.. it was a funny thought and image ;-) In gratitude, John At 06:19 PM 6/18/2008, you wrote: >John Van Rees wrote: >The Lizzie Bordon I meant was the Chad Mitchell Trio song from the >fifties/ sixties I did not know that there was a group by that name. >My tastes are pretty eclectic but most of the LPs are older we have cds >etc of more recent stuff > >Peggy > > Congratulations Peggy! > > > > Quite a selection of music.
