In my experience, what you said is most definitely true - it's the stone spirits who do the healing, not us. We act as bridges, facilitators, dance partners... <grin> And that's beautiful work. It doesn't diminish our role in any way. When we approach the stones as spirits, as Elders, we approach them as we would any other Elder. We don't tell them what to do, but instead ask them, with an open and humble heart, if they'd help us. We invite them to the dance, and when we do so in a good and sincere way they always show up. <grin> > And the clients and I found the crystals they chose really were what they needed! > Always! I am a big believer in the idea that our heart is our greatest vehicle of listening, and our heart always knows exactly what medicine we need in each moment. Our head may not have any idea, or may have itself set on A when, in truth, we need B. If we listen to our heart, and go with what most naturally attracts us, we're engaged in a type of listening, and that listening will lead us flawlessly. We don't need big books of " crystal definitions " . We don't need to memorize complex models that assign stones based on color, astrological ties, chakras, etc. All we need to do is listen, and let our listening guide us. It's perfect! > The Chevron amethyst in it did astonishing things! Like moving in a spiral from the crown to the feet! > Quite a dance! <grin> > I would like to ask you some questions if that is ok? Sure. Glad to offer whatever I can. Just know that, at the moment, I'm behind on replies, so while it may take me a minute, I will most definitely send a reply. > I took the beings to the park after so they could sit on the Earth, and then a nature spirit came to see us!!!! > That sounds like a beautiful way to end the dance. Indigenous traditions teach us that when we have received a gift (or even when we ask to receive one) we give an offering. It can be something small and simple, but by giving something to the Elders that help us, we keep ourselves in a state of right relationship, and our dance remains balanced. We also honor the Elders and their medicine, which they so generously share with us. After I've danced with the stone spirits, I like to offer some Cornmeal or Sacred Tobacco or a bit of incense or some quiet time outside, on the Earth. I Love that you all went to the park together. <grin> Thanks for your replies, and for your patience with mine. Guest guest
" Kari- Sorry for my delayed replies. It's been unusually busy for me, and I'm behind on both posts and emails. Thanks for your patience. " Fabeku, I am grateful you reply to my questions and don't worry about " late " replies. I have no web access at home, so sometimes don't get online for days! I know you will be doing another workshop soon, so take your time to reply. " Thankfully there are signs that the tide is starting to shift, and people are remembering the older ways of dancing with and relating to the Earth Elders. And once you taste the medicine of this road, everything shifts and a wholly new road opens. " So so true! Yesterday with a client, I was holding one of my Fuschite beings and all of a sudden I saw my Tiger's Eye crystal in my inner vision, but huge and super- imposed over the wall ( and client's feet) I was gazing at! I took this as a sign that the Tiger's Eye being wanted to be placed by the client's feet. So I did so and after we found there was a good reason for this! I was in awe of this to be honest- that the crystal beings know what the client needs so well and are so kind as to want to help. My Selenite wand was so happy to come yesterday and a face appeared in it, which seems to be staying. I even felt a gentle touch under my right ear and tingling in my aura as I was holding the being and waiting for clients to arrive. " I like the idea of a " worker " much better than a healer. In my experience, what you said is most definitely true - it's the stone spirits who do the healing, not us. We act as bridges, facilitators, dance partners... <grin> And that's beautiful work. It doesn't diminish our role in any way. In fact, I feel it makes it even more sacred because it's aligned with right relationship. " Yes, I told my boss yesterday that if anything in this is the " tool " it's me not the crystals! I am finding some of them like to have names and tell me their names! " Wonderful! Names play such an important part in the shamanic traditions, and receiving a name is a great gift on so many levels. " Really? I have read lots on shamanic traditions but not much was mentioned on names, except for the would be shaman finding their own working name. Tho, I am no shaman I hasten to add. Getting back to what we said on European ancient ways, I can recommend a gorgeous novel called The Stone and the Flute by Hans Bemmann ( A German)- the story has many magical shamanic relationships in it between the protagonist and animals, trees, nature spirits…he also is given a magical stone which unlike most tales is one whose colours hold the mysteries…it's not your standard fantasy tale at all, but reads like a folk tale..you would LOVE it..you can find it online mega cheap! " ...asked them if they would be so kind to help the clients who came in This line seems particularly important to me. When we approach the stones as spirits, as Elders, we approach them as we would any other Elder. We don't tell them what to do, but instead ask them, with an open and humble heart, if they'd help us. We invite them to the dance, and when we do so in a good and sincere way they always show up. <grin> " Yes, they are so *not* " tools " !!!! " I am a big believer in the idea that our heart is our greatest vehicle of listening, and our heart always knows exactly what medicine we need in each moment. Our head may not have any idea, or may have itself set on A when, in truth, we need B. If we listen to our heart, and go with what most naturally attracts us, we're engaged in a type of listening, and that listening will lead us flawlessly. " Now, you WILL love the novel I mentioned as this is one of the themes in it..and guess what the main character is called? Listener…. " We don't need big books of " crystal definitions " . We don't need to memorize complex models that assign stones based on color, astrological ties, chakras, etc. All we need to do is listen, and let our listening guide us. It's perfect! " Yes, a bloke I know is gonna spend over a thousand pounds on what he thinks is a deluxe crystal course which will take him 2 years to complete. I said he could do the distance one I am doing for under two hundred quid and listen to the stone beings…but he says they are nothing more than tools.. Do you ever work with chakras Fabeku? I do, but let the crystal beings guide me. I don't bother with astrology tho. Colour yes in a way as I let the client choose which crystals they would like to work with based on the colours they feel would help, shape, size etc. " I took the beings to the park after so they could sit on the Earth, and then a nature spirit came to see us!!!! " I didn't take them there yesterday as it was so soggy and damp, but I offered them insense and music and put them on my altar. Tonight I will let them dance in Frankinsense resin insense as they seem to love that. " After I've danced with the stone spirits, I like to offer some Cornmeal or Sacred Tobacco or a bit of incense or some quiet time outside, on the Earth. I Love that you all went to the park together. <grin> " Do you literally dance or is that a term for relationship? I plan to take them again soon, one of my crystals Sparkly, calls them " outings " and he loves trees, sun bathing and streams. Sparkly is one of my dearest friends and is very beautiful. " Thanks for your replies, and for your patience with mine. Dancing, Fabeku " Same to you Fabeku, and please no pressure to reply soon and only the bits you want to comment on.
