Guest guest
Hello, All. My name is Rose, I'm 60, I live in rural upstate New York. I'm interested in learning about crystals. I'm going to be using the pjentoft.com website as it looks to be a great place to start. Here's what I'd like to understand: 1. I'm also looking at the potential of working with cyrstals and gardening, as well as 2. crystals for healing past abuse, and also the 3. use of crystals to help develop the right brain. That last part is because I've been taught to be left-brained, functioned as a left-brained individual, but have realized only very recently that I am truly right-brained. The problem is that a lifetime of left-brain identity has caused a loss of confidence in that right brain, so I tend to " knee-jerk " in an analytical, exclusive, and sometimes patriarchal way. All the legacies of child abuse, but I digress... Anyway, that's where my head's at and that's what I'd especially like to know about crystals. Thanks, Rose
Guest guest
Rose, Welcome to our group. I also live in upstate New York. My husband and I live on 2 1/2 acres in West Seneca. We have 2 labs - a big black girl, and a chubby yellow girl. We have 2 Maine Coon cats, and a big red tabby. They are all rescues, and the loves of our life. I use crystals all over my property. I am also a breast cancer survivor. Without Reiki and crystal healing, I would be six feet under!! Take care, and again, welcome. Guest guest
Namaste Rose , i was fortunate enough to have had some guidence from people in my life today about how emotions effect our bodies energy levels and healings, as all memories have emotions attached to them good and bad depeding on the situation, negative emotions tend to only created a loss in energy and a negative effect left on the body, I have also been a child abuse experience and have completely forgiven the person for what they had done, I have realised that it was apart of my soul contract to learn from the experience and the situation, no matter how dark it was, turned you into the person you are today. I cannot be mad at myself for asking for the experience. (i had shielded my memories as a youngster, and remembering them when i was 13 for a minute, the pushing them to the back there somewhere and rembering them when i was 19 being triggered by a song, to have all the details, smell, come flushing back as clear as day, spending the next 6 months smoking pot) From what i have experience now a whipper snipper at age 22 was that writing them down and forgiving the person, when i think of the person i have no negative energies assoicated with the experience, it has helped shape my perception on reality and the way that i treat others and myself. EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE HELPS, or tapping ONENESS, when you are stong enough you will decide for yourself that you do not need crystals, although i have kilos' of them in my room, the energy is magnificant, but through realisation YOU create the POWER from within, you just felt for the time being that the crystal could be a symbol to help you achive your desired goal within the mind to associate to this desire everytime you see or think of the crystal. I am not sure on the crystal to use, but quartz works well. I am also positive that simple brain exercise, such as, the left side brain hemisphere controls the right side of the body and the right brain hemisphere controls the left side of the body, so in theory exercising the left side of you by stimulates right brain... writing with the opposite hand... Doing things during the day in opposite. blessings of love light and abundance Brad : lapis: Mon, 26 May 2008 09:24:42 -0400[CrystalHW] New to Group Hello, All. Guest guest
Aloha Brad and All. . .The kindness and thoughtfulness of your response reminded me of how grateful I am that we have this Internet community via Peggy to be able to reach out to each other and share and be touched in meaningful and healing ways. The transformation happening to many right now that correlates with the healing of the Universe as we have known it can at times be overwhelming. That said the beauty and perfection of the wisdom of the stones, one of the 'visible' forms of vibrational healing, always comes through for me and is always right on. My history with the stones goes way back and continues every day with opportunities to share that are always welcome. One of teachers who has has most profound effect on me, perhaps because of my connection with the 'stone people' and Native American aspects of healing, has been Dhyani Ywahoo Keeper of the Fire of 27 Generations fo the Tsagali or Cherokee Nation. Voices of the Ancestors is the only book she has published and written over 30 years ago, but well worth locating a copy if you are a crystal deva or devotee. The Venerable Dhyani was recently on Maui. Because of other commitments I was unable partake in seminar in which she shared her wisdom, but a link was provided to a recent interview in which she shares much about a healing energies of stones and about a specific mine in South America where a community of 144 crystals were found that I wanted to share with group members. My intuitive sense is that they are Lemurians. Portion on crystals is about half way through, but if you have time entire interview is worth listening to. Enjoy! http://allonenow.org/venerabledhyani.html Be sure to choose 2008 Archived Interview. Hoping all are finding a day of rest and ability to reflect on gratiutde to those warriors, who have made the world we live in possible. War is often misused, but the warrior spirit when used with love can benefit us all. Guest guest
Welcome, Rose! Our crystal-loving family has lots of information and support to offer you as you take this journey. You feel called to learn about crystals, and there is much healing and happiness to be learned from them! I am on the side of believing that they are living and communicative. Some will be too strong for you, some you may not feel much from, but some will be " just right " for where you are now. We will make suggestions for you as far as what works for each of us, but you will need to find what works for YOU. Lots of individualism and tolerance here! Brian makes a good point about the power and energy within each of us. We can at times abdicate our own power by thinking that crystals have more; they are just wonderful and supportive companions for our journey. Humility and willingness to learn from others is important, but being aware of our own gifts and abilities and fulfilling our own design is equally important. So--my favorite crystals to begin with: amethyst, citrine, and rose quartz for gentle love and comfort, and for learning to love self green aventurine for all-around healing smoky quartz, obsidian, and hematite for grief work, protection, and calming fears sodalite for soaking up negative energy possibly lapis lazuli for speaking your truth, but this is usually too strong for me- red jasper or botswana agate for grounding (actually most jaspers are good at this) So, welcome! Love and Light, Cindy
Guest guest
Welcome to the group Rose. I haven't posted in a while. I have also been busy with my herb garden/flower beds/and rebuilding my lawn. I am also getting ready for my wedding on June 21st plus I have to practice for my music gig on June 6th. All this while juggling time with my fiance and 2 sons. If I get some time, I will look in some of my books and notes and see what I come up with on garden stones. I don't know how I can help you for the right brain left brain part of your post. It is hard to change the conditioning of the brain. It's like teaching your pet to do the same trick that she knows but in a different way. I will send light in your way to help you on that journey. Well once again welcome to the group and I hope you enjoy your stay. Rick
