All Medical Practitioners are welcome to attend a talk by Neal Barnard, M.D. Dr. Barnard will describe his research into how a low-fat, plant based diet can dramatically improve type 2 diabetes and substantially reduce the need for medication and the incidence of complications for type 1 diabetes patients.

 

Neal D. Barnard, M.D., is an adjunct associate professor of medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. His breakthrough research established a new and powerful approach to diabetes, based on adjustments to the type of foods we eat. His book, Dr. Neal Barnard’s Program for Reversing Diabetes¸ has allowed many people to enjoy the same benefits his research participants have enjoyed for years.
