Guest guest
Dear Online friends, I would like to share with you my own experience as my case was exactly similar to most other patients suffering from back pain. I too had started getting back pain, some times severe right from my college days way back since around 1952 when I was hardly 21. It used to subside after some time. So I went on neglecting it till it became too severe to bear it. But even after repeated visits to many orthopedics and alternate therapists including a very famous homeopath at Pune, I could not get enough relief beyond some temporary respite. Finally, it became so severe that some famous orthopedics including one who was a member of the team of surgeons who had operated upon former prime minister of India, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee for his total knee replacement surgery for both his knees, all opined that even if I underwent spinal surgery, I could not hope to be normal beyond feeling somewhat better in doing my daily chores. Because of my restricted movements, I went on putting on weight that resulted into a severe heart attack (MI) in 1982. I had no hopes of survival, was just counting my last few days of life when the Great Good Lord helped me. I take it that God appeared in the garb of a bird and then of a dog. Copying just some instinctive movements that common sparrows go on doing like twitching their tail portion up and down while jumping from one branch of a tree to another and then suddenly taking to the skies, I started twitching my feet in the same style with the same timing. That started helping me a lot. Thereafter, I tried to stretch the way dogs do before taking to a run in my own way. I was convinced about it after reading the story of back pain of a very famous Himalayan Yogi Swami Shivanand of Hrishikesh at the foot of the mighty Himalays. When he was unable to climb a hill to go up for praying at a temple due to severe backache, he closed his eyes, perhaps in prayer and started walking on all fours and went right up the hill without any trouble. Once, I too closed the doors of my room to make sure that no one could see. Then I started walking on all fours, that is both hands and feet on the ground and started walking like a monkey, my pain vanished. That made me devise some simple spinal exercises that are started doing instinctively like the birds and the dogs. Within a couple of weeks, my back pain not only disappeared but those exercises done for 3 to 5 minutes before getting up from the bed each time when I slept or when ever I felt too tired, I used to get a new feeling of freshness as never before. Then a senior allopathic doctor from India's most famous five-star hospital, namely the Indrapratha Apollo Hospital at Delhi was brought to me by a friend who was his father-in-law because he did not want to undergo spinal surgery as suggested by all his senior surgeon colleagues (he being a physician and a nephrologists), may be due to his previous knowledge of many failed spinal surgeries while he was working at the Indian Army's Command Hospital at Pune before retirement. He was bed-ridden for almost three months without any hopes of ever resuming his work. Both his father-in-law and his wife were holding him on both sides for support to help him walk to me after getting down from the vehicle. He was even unable to sit on a chair due to that excruciating pain. I asked him to lie down on a flat bed comfortably. The moment his pain was a little less and he felt a little comfortable, I guided him in doing the same exercises for five to seven minutes. Then I asked the doc to get up and walk. To every one's amazement, he could walk almost normally without any support and admitted that he felt much better. Within a fortnight, he was up on his feet again, restarted his hectic medical practice and wrote me a nice letter thanking me profusely. You can read that letter on my website: <www.atbsnr.com> under its link on Patient Feedback. I am happy to say that it is now 11 years that he is without any back pain playing his favorite golf daily and attending to his work at the hospital as well as at his private clinic having a roaring medical. practice. He often goes abroad for attending medical conferences on behalf of the Apollo Hospital or otherwise without any problem. But the best thing he told me was that if his patients complained of any back pain as most people have these days, he was giving them the same exercises and they too got relief. Thereafter, he had even introduced me to his colleague Dr. R. K. Tuli, a retired Indian Air Force doctor who is now working as HoD (head of the department) of Holistic Health department of Apollo whose compounder (doc's assistant who gives out medicines that the doc recommends) was having back pain. When I made that compounder do the same exercises, he was instantly relieved of his pain and discomfort. Seeing that, Dr. Tuli also got interested and learned those exercises and promised to me that he would help spread that word in and around the capital twin-city of New Delhi and old Delhi. But docs are so busy with their lucrative medical practice that they even don't care to reply to my letters asking for feedback. The rest of the story is all given at that website. Hence please visit the website and cure yourself for the rest of your life so that you can enjoy the blissful feeling generated by those exercises done instinctively That way, you can not only cure yourself but also ensure that you remain in the company of that Creator of the Universe Whoever He may be as some call Him God, Allah, Jesus, Rama, Krishna or any other name..
